Wonderful pub!! The fish and chips are excellent! My party ordered me a Guinness as well. So great combination! The waitress was great and service was top notch!!
Went for Sunday lunch it's was excellent, real homemade proper Sunday roast and the gravy was amazing, definitely be going again, reasonably priced too. Staff were very friendly
I love this little pub. There is outdoor seating and hot food. It's clean and they still have covid measures in place. The food was really tasty and fresh. Will come back soon.
The food was amazing and much better compared to normal chain pub food (especially the chips and smothered chicken!). It is a quiet pub, with a friendly atmosphere The staff is friendly and the service is brilliant.
Visited this pub after finding it when playing Geoguessr! The pub is good, the drinks are nice. The atmosphere here wasn't really up to my liking though.
Great traditional pub with warm friendly staff and a great Sunday roast. Ditch the useless chain pubs and support a local business like this little gem.
Good pub with good somfortable bars and seating. Its not a student pub and not a sports viewing venue either. Prices a bit higher than some pubs around here, but it's great to have choices.
Beautiful food as always.!! The staff are lovely and accommoding. Always a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
We had food here today and the food was outstanding. As a past chef myself the food was extremely good...
Very traditional and welcoming place. Wonderful staff who go above and beyond to service you. Lovely atmosphere and good food and decent prices. Jacket potatoes are lovely and fluffy, well cooked. Would recommend.
A lovely, well run clean traditional pub. Good selection of real ales on draft. Friendly and professional bar staff. Would definitely visit again when I am in the area.
Really good food and friendly staff. We were a large group booking, nothing was too much trouble
An enjoyable pint of Guinness and a great plate of grub. Warm and welcoming staff. I got the wanna come back buzz. And I shall!
Had lunch here today, the weather was cold and wet so I fancied some comfort food. The menu was good with plenty of choice. I went for chilli con carne and asked the guy serving if it was spicy. He said not really, but the chef would spice it up for me, and it was face tinglingly fantastic. The wife
Very quiet pub ..mainly locals and students.
Great selection of beers and lovely team. Asked a question about the venue from our server who has been there since 2001 (probably the landlord) 🥰
Great beer on cask and on draught served here. Can recommend the steak or chicken fajitas! Nice and cosy with a nice bunch of locals. Lovely service always.
