Just popped in the Queens for the first time (I've been meaning to visit for 6 months!) and I love the place, a fantastic traditional pub, with Otley's 'boss' on the guest pump today at a very reasonable £3.20, and proper pub grub on the menu too, all of which is under a fiver! The staff are really friendly and smiley, which is very important! I may well have just found my new favourite place :)

A true British pub, great landlord, great atmosphere and a must visit to experience what pubs used to be like in years gone by

The best pub in Swansea bar none. It is old, traditional and has not had any dreadful renovation work or modernisation. Ian and staff are lovely. Can't praise it highly enough. Stuart ('the man with the hat'.)

What I would call a proper pub. Full of tradition and original fittings , it attracts an eclectic mix of customers. Great selection of beers and situated in the marina area.

We went for Sunday lunch. Such a lovely traditional pub. Very unusual to see such a lively pub supported by the locals. The lunch must be one of the best value Sunday lunches. Great home made food and plenty of it.

Lovely old pub, near the Marina. It's like stepping back to a time when pubs were proper ale houses! Food is served up to early afternoon. Great menu, home cooked and great value. We had 3 different meals and they were all a good size and very tasty. Great choice of ales, Theakstons ales on draught, excellent! Being a bit picky, but bar staff tended to see to 'regulars ' first. I would definitely recommend the Queens to anyone who wants a great pint in a lovely old pub near the Marina.

Came here for drinks with friends while staying in Swansea Marina. Very traditional pub with an excellent selection of cask ales, including a couple of well-kept Theakston’s. A small bar, so gets very crowded inside, but some accommodating locals made room for us to sit down. A nice space out front for fair-weather drinking, although the latter is a rarity in Swansea!

Other than the old man that stared and winked at me was a very pleasant experience. The main improvement i would make would be to take control of the locals predatory tendency's xo
