Went for the vegan night. A bold choice of food, meat eaters favourites but all vegan. Often avoided because of the ease of comparison making it easier to critique and to be fair, they did it well! Pricing was surprisingly cheap given the niche market and that it's in the Mumbles with mains around a tenner each.
Will go again for sure.
I don’t think you’ll get more homemade than the Village Inn! Meat was lovely and soft (beef & pork) as well as ALL the veg being incredibly soft! (swede, cabbage, parsnips, carrots & peas).
Beautiful location and gorgeous inside. Staff were very welcoming and the red wine isn’t too expensive ;).
All-in-all, a wonderful experience. Worth every penny! (£11.95) - contactless also!

1st time we've been here and will definitely coming again. Great friendly service, best food we've had for ages, and very reasonable too. And you can take your dog! Well worth a visit.
Sorry I'm a bit late with this review but we had a Sunday Lunch delivered on Sunday and only just finished it on Wednesday. Absolutely delicious all ingredients cooked to perfection and gravey to die for. Will definitely be back for more when we've finished this one highly recommended
Amazing food and service every time. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Love the fact they have a dedicated area for pets. The best Sunday roasts ever and most Fridays some first class entertainment with locals and visitors alike. Would definitely recommend it.
This pub/restaurant warmly welcomed us yesterday a party of 4 adults, 4 children and 2 large dogs, the staff were brilliant, the Sunday lunch was better than I've had in some restaurants in fact it was really lovely plenty of beautifully prepared veg, good portions, everyone was tucking in heartily!!
Would definitely recommend this pub, only one small criticism, we sat near the kitchen, and we froze?? Kids had to put their coats back on! But that's only a minor thing, a great experience otherwise
Superb food and service. They have so many delicious options including a full vegan menu. I had the red snapper and it was one of the best meals I've ever tasted! More 5* restaurant than pub food but so reasonably priced. Don't miss it if you are in the Mumbles!
