Love love love this fish and chip restaurant and take away. Although I sure do wish that the staff would make sure that the gravy has no stodgy lumps in it. The Sunday lunches are lush apart from lumpy gravy and sometimes hard roasted potatoes.

Just had cod and chips from Hiks
It was beautiful Cooked to perfection crispy Bater and succulent cod inside
The chips were full size with plenty of vinegar.. the way I like it
All served in a nice box with a lid 😀👍❤️

Very good fish and chips. Good, clean, fresh white fish with a lovely side salad and a sprig of fresh parsley. There is other foods available here too.
Nice high bench seats at the tables which is an ideal eating position.
Staff and service were friendly and excellent.

Arrived near the end of service and the server was busy doing the online orders. However the chef asked us what we wanted and started cooking it, which was kind of him. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely will come back next time I'm back in Swansea.

i ordered from uber eats and i have specific diet requirements, they facilitated incredibly. Every request i made they for-filled. Not to mention the food was outstanding! 100% will be ordering again! absolutely delicious

My first impression was "Hey I like this place, food, staff, service Fish & Chip Restaurant is absolutely superb, I couldn't leave without complimenting the staff, I can't speak highly enough of this Chippy.....oh and the Toilet was very clean and very usable 🚽🤩

Just called in, never been here, restaurant and takeaway, just had jumbo sausage in batter and chips, served by Louise, very polite and smiles. Chips were hands down the best I've tried in the UK. Well done, thoroughly enjoyed 😉 👏 👍

Today was my first time of eating in at Hiks Swansea.
We were greeted and served by the Owner, He was an absolutely outstanding guy, really pleasant and helpful and friendly (Something that is getting rare in Swansea, these days!) I can't praise him highly enough he was absolutely fantastic!
The food was absolutely amazing, lovely and hot, big portion's and really tasty, everyone really enjoyed every single mouthful of our wonderful lunch!
There is also parking and outside tables in a grassed area too!
A wonderful and friendly welcome by the staff and the Owner (Sorry I forgot to ask your name).
Hiks is everything and more that you could ever wish for, It's Pleasant and Outstandingly Clean Surroundings, Lovely Staff and Amazing Manager/Owner, Beautiful Food, Massive Portions and Really Good Price's!
Well Done, Hiks for a Really Amazing, Tasty Food Experience and the Welcome and the Service Shown By The Lovely Friendly Staff and Amazing Owner. Absolutely Fantastic! Thank You Ever So Much!

Finally found some time to experience Hiks and we were not disappointed.
Lovely fish, cooked to perfection and accompanied by wonderful chips.
Having tried numerous eateries around Swansea Hiks is the best to date, we will be back soon.

Love love love this place. They've recently installed a seating area to eat inside and has such a lovely modern homely feel to it.
Really delicious food and great parking. Friendly chatty staff always working together well.
Is it good for kids? Defiantly. With a kids menu and colouring pages. Good for all ages.x
