Very aesthetically pleasing pub/restaurant located in the sleepy village of Swanbourne. Great selection of beverages and food. Seating at the bar and surrounding tables as well as in the restaurant area which is very smart and the best bit about the restaurant area is the round tables. Groups of 7 or 8 can all converse with each other. I had the beef sirloin Sunday lunch and had it cooked medium rare, it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be going back for more. Lewis was our waiter and he was very friendly and welcoming and had great knowledge of the menu ๐
Lovely place and lovely food. The staff were all friendly and the food was so good. Great kids menu too! We ordered a few things but the spinach and garlic mushrooms side was something else ๐ค Would definitely go back.
Absolutely LOVED this place when me and some girlfriends went for a weekend away to Bucks! Food was incredible and the people working there were super friendly! Itโs expensive but for a reason. I would definitely go back again if in the area and try some of their main menu as I had a roast with it being a Sunday! Rude not to โบ๏ธ One of the best roasts Iโve had out in ages! ๐๐ผand they even had doggy ice cream ๐
Lovely food, staff and a great place to have a drink.
Plenty of vegan options, alcohol free beer on tap and a good variety of beers too.
Dogs welcome.
We weren't for a birthday meal and everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food. Highly recommend!
The Betsey Wynne is part of the Oakman Inns family (sharing the same menu). The food here came out fast, was fresh, good quality and the great service came with a smile. Lovely building, but sitting outside on a sunny evening was a joy! Would go again.
We popped over for a drink and ended up having food. It is a slightly more expensive pub but couldn't fault the food we had. The squid was so thick but not chewy at all, mushroom bruschetta made a change, the Porchetta was lovely and on par with another Oakman Inns I've had it at and my burger was so nice and clearly good quality meat. Would recommend and will go back if we're after more of a treat meal out.
We went here for a coffee after our run.
We had a look on the menu for a little nibble but the prices were a little high for what we wanted to spend at the time, plus it wasn't the sort of food we wanted either, my hubby wanted a bacon or sausage sarnie but the breakfast dishes were more like an avocado type of dishes. The menu sounded lovely but it wasn't our type of food.
On a positive note, the flat white was absolutely lovely and it is a dog friendly restaurant ๐
Really good food at this place, had two meals over a weekend and both were excellent. The range of beers and wines is good and the service was really above and beyond. Our waitress Andreea deserves a medal for how well she looked after everyone despite it being super busy. Service with a smile goes a long way and she crushed it ๐
Great selection of food I opted for the chorizo scotch eggs for started, bacon and cheese house burger for main and banoffee sundae for dessert. Overall the food was lovely with a great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive always checking the food was good and on hand for your next drink.
Lovely atmosphere. Food quality very good but could be served warmer. The cooked breakfast seemed luke warm . Everything else is great. An added plus is that it's dog friendly.
Very good experience Meal was well cooked .both ladies struggled with the large portions but thats not a complaint. Thank you for cheerful atmosphere and good hosts
Lovely birthdy dinner with the family. The Betsy Wynne has never disappointed and Wednesday this week was no exception.
Good menu, nice atmosphere and attentive service just show why it always seem to be busy.
Good value for money and highly recommended, as always.
