Hectic, as summer tourist crowds were in town. However, Harlees staff and ordering system coped very well and the food took only 5 minutes to appear. It was very good indeed (haddock, sausage, curry sauce and chips). Harlees is highly recommended

The ordering system was great for a first timer. Gave me all the time I needed to look through the menu. I ordered a kids nuggets and chips the portion was good size considering I'm a 20 year old. The nuggets were amazing so juicy and tasty the chips were soft and fluffy the best way! The sachet of ketchup were I think 60p per sachet which I think is a little too much. Overall, the food was tasty, the restaurant was clean, and I had a pleasant visit and would definitely go back.

We had a fantastic late lunch here on the recent Bank Holiday weekend. We ordered via the touchscreens, which were very simple to use, and the food arrived quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. The fish was cooked beautifully, both haddock and cod. The chips were also first class, as was the tartar sauce. It's not the cheapest but I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Great Fish and Chips however the state of the art ordering system needs some explanation. We are already planning the next visit!

Would recommend trying the seasonal battered creme egg. The interior is well decorated and clean, there is a lot of seating. Option to sit at tables inside or outside in good weather and can add salt and vinegar to taste at the table. The prices are cheap for a meal. Ordered battered fish: cod and chips and paid a supplement for ketchup and mayonnaise, as standard at many fish & chip shops. Cod and chips were good. Downsides on the food: the curry sauce tasted mostly of powder, the bap was over-buttered and the jackfruit fish batter could be better cooked. Resolving these would make more options better value for money.

We recently visited Swanage and Studland on holiday for 3 nights with members of our Ukraine support group. We were 8 families, mostly women and children fleeing the war and now living in the UK. We didn't have much money for the holiday but were blown away by the hospitality of Harlees when we visited them. We wrote in advance to ask if they could offer us a discount but they insisted on providing us with free meals. The food was fantastic and we all sat together in their lovely restaurant. Thank you to all the team. The warm welcome you offered us will live long in our memories.

We had a very nice fish & chips lunch here. It was a bit pricey, but in a great location. The food was freshly cooked to order, and the service was good and prompt even though it was very busy. Good portion sizes too!

Seaside fish and chip shop touch screen order system. Order number called picked up order sat down inside and ate it. Filled me up left a few chips. Watched a gull feasting on left overs the other side of the window. Number calling the sole human interaction.

Popped in yesterday for a meal to avoid the rain and was really impressed. It was spacious and clean inside. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was delicious. We had cod and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chips were cooked to perfection and I'm not a fan of batter but it was delicious as really light and crisp.
