The Anchor Inn - Swanage - Photo album

Fantastic place, had 3 x rib-eye steaks, all requested to be cooked differently & all came out cooked to perfection! Gorgeous homemade brownies for pud. Lovely staff, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Such a charming little pub. We came across this place on our first night in Swanage. The staff were immediately friendly and made us feel welcomed. We ordered our dinner, which was from the Christmas menu and we were not disappointed. First came out warm bread with mixture of butter and oil for dipp

Recently had dinner in the anchor during our stay in swanage, and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. The menu was varied, with vegan options. I had the belly of pork, and it was not only cooked to perfection, but beautifully presented too. I would not label this as "pub grub" as the

Whilst visiting Swanage called into The Anchor. What a lovely pub. The food was exceptional. Share the Nachos - but wished Iโ€™d had my own as they were so lovely. Next had the risotto which was unbelievable with the chargrilled chicken and my husband had the Lamb and red wine Anchor pie - which again

Eaten here a couple of times recently and both times the food has been excellent, the service very good and the overall experience very enjoyable. This was our first visit to Swanage and to the Anchor Inn. Firstly - Swanage is lovely, beautiful beach and coastal walks. We stumbled across The Anchor Inn by chance and so glad we did. Great tasty food, value for money and a warm welcome from the landlord and staff. We will be back to both Swanage
Swange gets so busy at the weekends, but the staff were amazing despite being rushed off their feet. They squeezed us in and the food was lovely. So grateful ๐Ÿ™ thanks very much.
A very nice pub with great beer and food. Had a giant party come in and take up a large table and yet the staff were able to handle everyone easy. Loved it!
Centering on food more now and not the pub it was, but good beer and service.
