A really delicious tuna sandwich with a fresh crispy side salad. Nice chunky granary bread made it perfect. They forgot to bring out the milk for our tea, on asking about it a polite young lady happily brought it out to us. 😊 Very dog friendly, our fur baby really enjoyed the sausage we ordered for him. 🐶🩵.
Came across Brook Tea Rooms whilst walking along the front. Tables outside so you can view the sea whilst having tea and cake. On using the facilities found the inside of the tea room welcoming and airy, they also had seating to the front of the premises. Staff were lovely and made a fuss of Jenson. Would love to try their menu on another visit
Food local and awesome, atmosphere friendly and welcoming and to top it all off, truly stunning views nobody would ever get tired of. Never had a bad visit here and the breakfasts are top notch
Seeing cafe house in such a beautiful place made me feel good. I spent some time there and enjoyed the beauty of nature.
Good value, Great view of sea. Tea is served in a pot which gives 2 cups per person. Had double poached egg on toast and pot of tea for £7. Service was a little slow for the eggs on toast, which was understandable as lot of families suddenly descended at the same time, when it started raining. They warned me it would be 20 minutes, and it came in 15. You get your table first, before ordering, which is great because no chance of getting drink and nowhere to sit.
Poached eggs were well cooked and there were unlimited supply of nice quality brown sauce in sachets on table.
Just stopped briefly to get takeaway tea and cake and what a great find! My husband is allergic to eggs so we don’t usually have much choice but the vegan brownie and the flapjack were both excellent! Brownie moist and fudgy and the flapjack was delicious - not sure exactly what made it so but lovely flavours of maple and maybe pecan? Very helpful staff too - thanks for a great experience :-)
Thank god for this lovely place that still takes cash. After being turned away elsewhere we found the tearoom. Turns out this was our good fortune and had very nice breakfast. Everyone was great...it's definitely on our list for a revisit next year x
A lovely place for a coffee, tea cake or bacon butty. Service was good and with a smile. If you sit outside, they're not 5s they are Ss for the seaside view 😉. Totally recommended

Beautiful spot on the beach. The tea room was open for dinner when we spotted it. We weren't in the mood for fish and chips, so saw this as a nice alternative. Evening menu was limited, but variety was available. While roasted sea bass was lovely and the black and blue burger was also satisfying and the chips were top notch. Very pleasant staff and good service.

Great location and lovely place to stop for tea and cakes. The cakes are fresh, great range of flavours and the cafe is clean.

I ordered some Avocado Toast at a cafe, but imagine my surprise when I was given 602214076000000000000000 pieces of toasts. It was then I realized...
...I'd accidentally ordered Avogadro's Toast.
How I Mark
I may mark differently to some other reviewers, some might see this as harsh, others may see it as fair. But here's how I look at it:
5 star - WOW. I want to go back and look forward to doing so. They delivered everything expected and more. The 'more; is normally about the service or attitude of the staff.
4 star - GOOD. They delivered everything I wanted and a bit more. I recommend them and would go back.
3 star - OK. They delivered what I expected, I would go back if I needed to, although don't currently plan on doing so.
2 star - Not very good. I didn't get what I expected and the service wasn't good. I don't recommend this place. I might get dragged back here, although will always try to avoid it
1 star - This was rubbish. Don't go there, I certainly won't go there again. I didn't get what I wanted, the people were unhelpful and I didn't enjoy it in any way.
Nice friendly tea room and dog friendly. Staff helpful and nothing too much trouble. Recommended the Dorset apple cake nicest I've had and my waistline agrees
