Friendly service. We waited quite a log time for our food but we weren't in a hurry. Food was quite good. Not a great choice of meals. Very inexpensive which was a bonus. Would go again.
Came for a meal just before half term so very quiet! Lovely! Food was great lobes the chicken, bacon creamy pasta. Would definitely come back again xx
Went in for lunch. Dogs welcome. Great service, good prices, good choice on menu, several beers and ciders on draught as well as delicious coffee's. Would definitely go again if we're in Swanage again.
Been coming to Swanage for carnival week for 7 years. Have never been made to feel anything less than welcome in this place, these guys work their you know what’s off and a lot of the time under intense pressure and a very demanding (sometimes unreasonable) clientele.
The service is fantastic, the food is top notch and always a friendly welcome. Some of the negative reviews I’ve read would be directed at their zero tolerance towards idiots policy, which quite frankly I’m all in favour of and think should be mandatory in all pubs across the country.
Keep doing what you’re doing guys, great team and a great pub. 2 more nights of this holiday left and we’ll definitely be seeing you for a few more years yet. Now who’s for a baby guinness?
This place was an absolute gem of a find to eat, the food was outstanding and reasonably priced. The locals were friendly too. Will defo be returning to eat here when we go back to swanage.

Whilst it is a sports bar, it has a good choice of ales and excellent bar staff.
Love the food it's so good I had steak and it was cooked perfectly one-of my favourite places to eat in swanage

A really good pub, with a variety of ales. Both had lovely meal here. Strongly recommended it.
Stayed here for the carnival weekend. Bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Concerned we may hear the pub downstairs but didn't, it was very quiet. The only noise was from outside, it was 26° so windows were open. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious with fresh mushrooms! Right on the doorstep of everything Swanage had to offer. Highly recommended!
Bar staff and local regulars were really welcoming, I'm yet to sample the locally sourced produce from the menu as the Kitchen is closed on Mondays when out of season, but will definitely be back. Beer is reasonably priced too.
Ate here a lot on our week away to Swanage,great food(lovely hunters chicken),good prices,nice selection of food and drinks,nice staff,really good for sport, definitely come back ...log fire too

10 of us were in town for a friend's birthday. This pub welcomed us and a dog like honoured guests and moved tables to seat us together. ( another local pub had refused the dog entry )
The food and customer service was excellent and all very reasonably priced. From the outside it may not be your first choice but the welcome and good honest pub grub is great.
