Very popular, great food, and very well managed. Service is great, very friendly owners, overall great curry restaurant.
A relatively small and straightforward family run business, reasonably priced for Swanage and very popular. Tables are very close together so you get to know your fellow diners. Curry, naan and side dishes were all exceptionally good, flavourful and generous. Samosa starter was remarkably small how
The food was exceptional. It was tasty and great value. Akbar was wonderful , he was cheerful and witty. A lovely family atmosphere. This restaurant is a fantastic find, go there and fill your bellies.
Small restaurant hence nice and quiet, the food was excellent, the service & hospitality was great. Reasonable prices. If you fancy a curry you won’t be disappointed. Thanks.
The food was excellent, very tasty indeed . The welcome could have been warmer, but once we were settled in the front of house team became more friendly . The decor did fall short, but the food well and truly made up for it. Overall a very nice experience.
It’s about the food right? and this how I roll. I order for the family but they barely get a look in. I order fairly hot dishes, give them the meagrest of portions because they’re too small to enjoy (1&4 year old), pile my plate up and then eat the remains for breakfast and lunch the following day!
We came to this restaurant last year and we made it our first point of call on our visit this year. We had a takeaway last night instead of eating in the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic. Lovely food and a lovely family. Thank you Masala Swanage!
Food is okay, not that great. Service is the worst. One of the waiters at the restaurant was very unprofessional, maybe be had some personal issues on that day and showed that anger on us. But we felt very bad about his behaviour. The owner cum chef who came at the end and he was very polite and took
Got a take away, nice hot food full of flavour and I'm a bit of an Indian connoisseur coming from East London! = Recommended.
Beautiful food, nice to have vegan options. Friendly staff. If you love Indian food and/or eat vegan, this is a nice place to eat.
One of the best Indian restaurants by the costal area, was extremely tastey ,naan was abit on the dry side but over all I very much enjoyed the chicken tika jalfrezi, my advice would be to go easy on the spices ,was very hot 🔥
Great experience all round. The staff are fantastically friendly and attentive, and the food was great. Would definitely eat here again. I wish this restaurant would move to where I live 😄
Delicious food and brilliant service. Akbar and all the other staff were outstanding and created a brilliant dining experience for us all. Thank you!
