Came for a family celebration, not expecting much, but was surprised by brilliant food, cosy and quiet atmosphere and great wine.
Can say from experience that desert is definitely worth it.
Came here on recommendation, we were not disappointed! Rare to come across a place like this - A small cosy restaurant with very good quality food, drinks all at a fair price. Don’t let the decor fool you as this had no bearing on the experience!
A rare gem of a bistro. Lovely staff, great service. delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. Local friends took us there on Friday night but now we will be regulars!
When we were on holiday last year and we called in for our first time, we were not disappointed that's why we visited there again this year. Brilliant food served by a wonderful young lady and we would definitely recommend Tawnys to anyone especially their Pavlova, The dessert of the year!
Lovely place. Great food and very good service from the sole waitress (didn't see another). Had the crab linguine, decent portion size great taste. Would come again.

Good food reasonably priced, good service, friendly atmosphere. A most enjoyable experience. One minor criticism could do with a good "house wine"

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. Firstly, the lovely hostess is amazing! She's so friendly, has extensive knowledge of all the ingredients in all the dishes and her customer service is simply world class! Secondly, the food is sublime! Made with love, presented beautifully
Excellent welcome and service. We'll priced wine. Had a problem with one meal, but that was handled impeccably and a new dish was prepared swiftly. Food was delicious.
