We are so glad we decided to have our wedding at the Mill House, we had the best day ever!
The Mill House hotel staff are very professional and very accommodating. I was able to email them about the tiniest of things and they would respond quickly and without making me feel like it was a stupid thing to ask.
We liked that there were detailed meetings to run through everything and a menu tasting yum!
On the day they made everything run so smoothly, providing what was needed and when; making it more relaxed for us and our guests.
The food at the wedding breakfast was highly commented on from our guests and we will certainly be going back for dinners.
We can't speak highly enough for everything they did for us to make it a wonderful day <3
We can't thank Mark, Kim, Nathan and all the staff enough for our amazing wedding we've just had at The Mill House. Everything from the food, marquee, service, beautiful garden and hotel was fabulous and with the sun shining down on us getting married in the cedar pavilion in the garden was the icing on the cake. I recommend The Mill House to every Bride and Groom out there..... you will have the most beautiful and perfect wedding ever!

We had our wedding reception here on 8th April 2017 and we can not thank the staff enough for giving us the perfect day. From the first meeting up until we checked out as Mr and Mrs the service was superb. Everything went extremely smoothly and many of our guests have commented on the high standard of food and service throughout the day. Thank you all very much for making our day so special. We would recommend this venue to anyone. x
We held a garden party with a BBQ and a band at the hotel. It was fabulous, the location, rooms, staff and food was all great quality! Would definitely recommend them

Well we have just got home from our daughters wedding held at the Mill House. What can I say? ! The most beautiful setting in the countryside with the river running along side.My husband took me for lunch there over a year ago. We went back and had a beautiful meal again and after suggesting it to our daughter, this is where she chose to be married . Her wedding was fantastic. It exceeded all our expectations beyond words. The staff were beyond exceptional, from Mark and Kim ( the owners), Lorna, to the housekeepers - every single member of staff efficient, friendly and only too happy to help.Our daughter had wanted a wedding that was intimate and fun filled and that was exactly what she got.The food was outstanding. Nathan, together with Mark, were utterly discreet & ensured our day ran like clockwork. In fact we were unaware they were there most of the time. Many of the guests have said to us it was the best wedding they had been to - I have no doubt that much of this was down to the staff and smooth running of the day. Our rooms were all comfortable, fans supplied in the rooms (which are beautifully decorated and clean) and everyone slept well. Breakfast was lovely. Full English - delicious. I cannot recommend The Mill House highly enough. Go there! For dinner, functions or like me, just for a coffee on the patio, listening to the river and enjoying the peace and quiet.
I just want to say a very big thank you to all the staff at The Mill House for The way they made my daughter Claire and son In law Sam's wedding flow. It was an amazing day and I would recommend anyone thinking of having their wedding there not to look any further. They were wonderful from start to finish and couldn't do enough for us all. Thank you once again.

I just love this place, perfect venue, with the most fabulous management and staff. Had the most amazing wedding here last October and it felt so special. Food was just outstanding, they catered for my sausage and mash request way beyond expectations. Wish I could just do it all again
We used the Mill house for Wedding reception for Rebecca and Jamie's Wedding in June and can say this was a wonderful place with staff doing a very professional but personal job, the whole surrounding were excellent and I thank Mark, Kim, Nathan, Lorna and the staff for an excellent day, rooms in Hotel also very nice.
Singing waiters were also a boost.
On Saturday my sister was married at the mill house and I really could not rate the venue high enough. Everything was beyond expectation. The staff are so attentive and helpful, nothing was a bother for them. The food was delicious and the marquee was beautiful. The day ran so smoothly no one could have asked for more. If you would like a friendly intimate venue I wouldn't look any further :)
