Fantastic local. Clean, friendly, good food, reasonably priced, good staff, good selection of beers, welcoming atmosphere / regulars. Not much else you could ask for from a pub. Brilliant.
Met up with an old friend for drinks and chat. Have to say the service is excellent. Garden at rear is well kept and shuts out road noise making it perfect for conversation. I think if I had any specific improvement,it would be to have a ramp in the garden for mobility users. Definitely will visit again.
We had an amazing Sunday lunch. We were not locals, and had read some posts about not feeling welcome. We felt very welcome indeed. Dinner was delicious and our desserts were excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive.

This is the closest pub if you are staying at Seaview Holiday Park, just a short stroll away and totally recommended.
The pub was busy, the staff were friendly. There was a pool table inside but this was in full use whilst we were there.
We enjoyed a pleasant drink whilst sitting outside.
We heard great reviews about the food, but unfortunately due to some event food was not available on the only day we could go.
We would return to sample their food if back in the area.
Went for Sunday lunch . Despite the unlucky result with the football . Couldnt fault the food or service. Very helpful staff , we had our dogs with us and couldnt eat with them in the normal place as it was full of football fans . So they allowed us to eat in main resturant area with them . Meals were all well cooked and presented .
This place was so lovely the interior is amazing the exterior is just as good... But the service was absolutely supreme, the food was brilliant and piping hot when it came out to us, the gentleman that served our table was great. I am really glad we came here today for Sunday roast. Thank you guys at the plough for a great afternoon.

Lovely place to come and loved the recent event. There was some trouble with a really stupid inconciderate man but the people behind the bar were very quick to sort it out after I had mentioned it. Very professionally run and happy to go back more and more.
First visit here and the venue hired for a friend's 60th was incredible. It's own bar and then the room opened out onto a heated terrace. This is the perfect venue for a celebration and the staff were amazing and so friendly. The price of the drinks were very good. Can't recommend this place enough we will definitely return here for an event. The food layed on for the celebration was fresh and a good selection
I went to a charity afternoon tea hosted by Mel and her team. I had never been to the Plough before and had a very warm welcome and the food and service was excellent. I would certainly visit again. Thank you for your kind support of MacMillan Mel.
