Food was tasty and fresh and had an authentic taste definitely not generic Chinese takeaway fayre. All you can eat menu had plenty of choice and there was no encouragement to move on to the next course. Service was attentive and polite and the overall experience was very enjoyable. The only negative from a personal point of view, was although the tables where spread out allowing an intimate dining experience the lighting was very bright, it's a personal preference but worth bearing in mind.
Overall first time here and the unique food was a winner, will return, without a doubt👍🏻

Lovely food. Good vegetarian options including set menu but has to be for 2. We opted for this and I added lemon chicken in. Nice. Slightly pricey for beer I'd say which is why I've knocked a star off. Think they might be the smaller size whereas I'd think the larger would be that price. Very friendly service.

Second time visiting and have experienced lovely, friendly service both times. Being served with patience and charm while juggling in house and takeaway orders. Food is exceptional with a variety of options, the several we have tried have been outstanding.

We came here for some dinner tonight as are staying in the area.
The restaurant was very quiet on arrival but we was greeted by friendly staff.
We had a set meal for two (starters and main) two drinks and the order was around £50. The food came out quick and was nice. I do think for the price there could have been a couple more of the satay chickens for starter. There was plenty of food for the mains though:) The drinks are a little on the pricey side. Thank you

It's always a pleasure at East Garden. Jenny is lovely, and the food quality is always top-notch. Obviously, you expect to wait a little longer on busy weekend evenings, and anyone who is shocked by this needs their heads testing! We have never had to wait too long, and the food has always been piping hot and tasty upon arrival. Portions are large enough that one main and one rice dish does me the following day. Don't listen to the negative reviews! From a local.

Great night out on chinese new year. Had the all you can eat and it's great value for price! There is a huge menu with lost of variety and very tasty, food arrived quick. Nice ambiance for a night out. Recommend.

Myself, Wifey, and two friends,
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and drink on offer,
decor a little dated, but does not detract from the food and atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.
