We just went for food. It was really good service. Food was excellent. Large portions. As always hotel prices for drink are always on the high side. Nothing unusual.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Swaffham. Hosted a two day seminar here and everything asked of the manager (Roxi) was dealt with to a high degree. Food was also excellent. I highly recommend a stay here

Location is very good, nice big car park, staff very friendly and food very nice, though only had breakfast. The only small downside is rooms( well certainly ours) dated.
Excellent place to stay, staff lovely and nothing was too much trouble, food Excellent and would definitely recommend.
Visited the George Hotel for a meal in the restaurant, the décor was clean but could do with a freshen up, menu was good covering the main food groups, service was good our waitress was lovely and informative about any queries we have on the dishes in the menu.

Excellent restaurant with high quality food and service. Relatively small menu but a nice variety and selection of specials.
Comfortable clean rooms, handy for a quick stop over. Nice area, pubs within walking distance, big spacious car park suitable for vans.
Bathroom could do with new shower curtains and the shower lead was leaking.
Will be back if working In the area.
A traditional style Hotel and Restaurant, but it's in keeping with the building. The staff are fantastic, welcoming and friendly.
They are the best I have come across for meeting any dietary needs, adapting dishes to suit the customers needs!

Coach stopped here for a pre arranged Christmas meal on the way to Thursford spectacular. Meal good service ok, fair value.
Attended a wedding reception in their functions suite. Lovely buffet, helpful hard working staff, well set out room. (We didn't test any bedrooms)
Nice patio area outside but sadly lacking any plants/greenery.
Gents loos could do with refurbishment.

Rooms in the old part of hotel could do with updating and facing the main road are very noisy. However the really friendly staff and very good food made up for it.
