An authentic traditional British curry house in rural Norfolk. Don’t expect anything out of the ordinary on the menu here but do expect a stellar curry; no grease on the bhajis, tasty sauces, generous servings, a good drinks selection and all served very efficiently from friendly staff. We were just passing through (from London) and were really impressed. A full meal for two for sub £38. Brilliant

Update March 2024 Back in Swaffham visiting family, back at Indian Summer for takeaway. Usual Cobra and red wine whilst waiting (part of the delight of the Indian Summer and our reason for not ordering online or by 'phone). The usual superb customer service and of course the superb food. Maybe we should convince them to open a "satellite restaurant" where we live in the far north of Scotland, we certainly need it. Would happily award more than 5 stars in all respects. Update August 2023 Back visiting family and a trip to get our favourite takeaway. As usual a glass of Cobra and a glass of red wine whilst waiting. The manager and his staff are superb and have first rate customer service skills. You are made to feel to be THE most important people in the restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, very good pricing and generous portions make a meal from Indian Summer most desirable. No hesitation in recommending FIVE STARS in EVERY respect. See you next time we are down here. Order placed, shown to a table to enjoy a superb pint of Cobra and a glass (large) of red wine to await our order. Made to feel that we were the most important customers in the restaurant. FIVE STAR SERVICE and when we got back to our relatives a FIVE STAR range of Indian dishes. Absolutely wonderful 🙂, how I wish we had a restaurant of this quality where we live in the far north of Scotland Original comment 2021. A consistently decent Indian takeaway and restaurant. Their wednesday meal deal is good value and one easily feeds two people. It is not the best Indian restaurant that I have ever frequented, but they turn in a solid performance. The "scores on the door" has also improved from 1 to 3, which is undoubtedly a positive movement!

Delicious food, friendly staff, definately recommend to anyone. Thanks for a lovely meal, I had chicken madras it was delicious. All 4 of us had a great time an loved the food. Just updating my review myself an 3 others had another meal Saturday eve, and it was delicious the staff so friendly ,food amazing ,great evening thanks again .will come back again When we visit swaffham again .

Have eaten here a few times. The food is always pretty good and is very tasty. Really like the naans. The food would look better if it wasn't so bright. Not sure if it's the spices or colouring

We had a take away in sat 28th oct 2023 , and i can honestly say it was one of the best Indian take aways i have ever had .food was fresh ,tasty and reasonably priced.back this Saturday for a dining in experience. Recommend it 100 %

First visit. Impressed. We arrived add they were opening without a reservation. They said that they were fully booked, but found us a table as it was early. We (three of us) ordered food and drink. Drinks came immediately. Three different curries (and accompiaments) arrived in quick time. All cooked to perfection. Friendly, helpful staff. Great choices on the menu. Reasonably priced. There are special offers for Wednesday's and Sundays. Recommended 👍

Always use these guys. Usual menu choices. Service is quick, food is good with plenty of meat in the dishes. Had sit in and takeaways both with no issues. If sitting in it's worth booking in advance as it is popular. Recommended.
