Lovely homely pub/restaurant that serves good food and good portions. Have to say the tempura sweet chilli prawns were delicious and the size of the salmon with chilli and chives on mash was amazing. The chef and owner is a lovely man and came and had a chat with us and pointed out places to go and
The roast was amazing! The best roast I've eaten in a long while, everything was fresh and homemade the desserts were gorgeous too. Lovely attentive hosts I would highly recommend The Station Bar.
The Station is somewhere we now return to on a regular basis. We can pre order food which is always beautifully presented and delicious. Food is reasonably priced and we are not blasted by unnecessary music.
Station bar was very good service and food served was very good. I felt the place was a bit cramped trying to get as many people as possible. For that reason I won't be going back in a hurry. Prices were higher than I expected for a carvery but everything is rising these days!
Food was great and service excellent. All members of staff where really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. 6 of us dined together and there was a good range on the menu to keep everyone happy, prices where reasonable the the quality meals good value.

Nice, friendly staff with a relaxing atmosphere. Quaint little pub with old style features and really cosy. Tired after moving house we looked in to see if we could get something to eat. Normally you need to preorder, we hadn’t realised, but the owners made us very welcome. We had the most delicious, perfectly cooked steak, delicious chips, crunchy onion rings etc. Thank you.

Very friendly hosts, fitted us in at short notice on Friday night. Happy to go "off menu" and adjust a dish to meet our tastes. Very much about what you wanted. Beautifully cooked food, well presented and tasted superb. I will definitely go back again next time I am in the area.
Had a lovey Sunday lunch here today . The meat was very tasty and tender. Would really recommend. Staff are really pleasant and welcoming.

Booked a table for early evening, they send a menu in advance for you to choose & pre book. Good menu. Staff greated on arrival, very friendly. Good drink selection in the bar. Food was top notch 👌🏼 😋 All of us thoroughly enjoyed and said we would all go again. Definitely recommend.
Me and my wife came for our 2nd anniversary and had a lovely evening. The meals we had were delicious (chicken balls, steak, ribs, pavlova) and to top it off the staff are very welcoming. Would highly reccomend ******
