I'm happy that places like this are still going. Although it's a little strange, but don't let that put you off. I'm assuming it's a community pub, as there were people fixing pushbikes in what I would call the entrance. Absolutely not an issue to me, just odd is all! What was really nice as in the bar area there was a group of ladies have a right old chinwag! Which was lovely to see and hear. Would I go back? Yeah definitely!
Great little family owned local, great for dog owners and really well priced drinks.
I didn't eat so can't comment on that, but it's a great pub for a drink.
Fabulous friendly local pub. Great beers and atmosphere. Fantastic live music too. Well worth a visit!!

Nice pub, good beers, nice friendly atmosphere. We have been twice now for the open Mic nights which have proven to be very good and quite welcoming to all talents.
Perfectly nice village pub, I occasionally call in for a couple of pints towards the end of a walk with my camera, the landlord seems friendly enough, the pedigree is just fine, but the landlord's dog snores quite loudly.
