Wow. Right first: the burgers are awesome. Flavour, presentation, etc. were all amazing. The fries were something else (I had the Frankie Knuckles special!). The place was wonderful and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The music was very much up my street. The kids loved it. I loved it. The decor of the place was very good and lively as you would expect from the theme. Cocktails are awesome and the shakes.... !!! The shakes were an entirely amazing entity.
Want good burger food? This is the place. I was happy and stuffed and quite frankly I didn't want to leave but I just couldn't eat any more!

Lovely food! We spoke to two staff members who were really nice staff too and regularly checked we were OK for drinks, etc. Me and my friend were pleasantly surprised by the amount of options for vegans and we will definitely come again! It seems any negative reviews are the takeaways which perhaps they didn't get totally right when they tried to make ends meet over lockdown. Give them a chance, it's a nice place to eat out!
Great tunes, atmosphere, fun for all ages, very tasty food and cocktails, definitely recommended by all of our party of 7!! We shall be returning to try more of the menu 😊 soon x

We came here for my partners birthday. I have never been before but he has and I have to say I was very impressed! Food was amazing- a wide range of vegetarian and vegan food, staff were super friendly and could not do any more for us! Not too pricey either which is always great. I will definitely be coming back!
So ordered from The Balearic eye tonight for the first time. Ordering in the website was easy and quick, relatively hassle free.
Upon ordering it gives you a collection time, our wait was 1 hour 20 minutes, which for me is totally fine as we ordered way in advance!
When our time arrived, the restaurant called us to collect our order in 20 minutes. Food was brought out to the car by a very polite delivery driver and a lady.
I got home and the food was restaurant quality ! The food looks exactly like it does on the pictures and tasted even better. The portion of loaded fries is easily enough for two people, burgers are very large too. This restaurant/takeaway is a true gem within Swadlincote. This is why it gets a 5* from me and my partner. Well done guys, keep the good work up !
Ordered from here last night, took under the hour to get to us and when it did the food itself was incredible, hands down best burger I have ever devoured! All cooked fresh and the Philly loaded fries might be the best thing that's ever happened to me!! Every member of staff I spoke to were friendly warm and welcoming! Couldn't ask for a better experience thank you Balearic eye!! Will 100% eat from this place at every opportunity I can
This place is the best ever. Burgers are the best we've ever had, loaded fries are to die for BUT most of all is the service, it can't be faulted. We haven't had the pleasure of eating in only takeaway but there always so friendly, accommodating and go out of there way to help. Our favourite Friday night takeaway xxxx
The Balearic eye is an interesting take on a restaurant/nightclub. With an excellent selection of liqueur and cocktails, they certainly cater to adult evenings. They are clearly into their acid culture, with posters and framed images promoting this. The food menu is small, but they are clearly playing to their strengths. I've been twice, and both times ordered a burger and not been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and I think I've found a new favourite restaurant. Thanks guys!

The menu may seem a little pricey compared to the other fast food venues in and around Swadlincote...but don't be put off!, because you can't put a price on quality!
The portions are well suited for the larger appetite, so would recommend sharing (that's if you want to).
I'd certainly recommend it to friends and family who are looking for that extra special treat!, cannot wait for the restaurant to open fully!
Had burgers and chips delivered from here - prompt and friendly delivery service. The burgers were delicious and just a bit decadent. The chipotle chips were excellent too. Perfect if you're craving something a bit filthy but still decent quality - would definitely eat here again 😋

Delivery times are quite lengthy, but both times the delivery had been a lot faster than the set time. Food piping hot.
Burgers are 🤤🤤 and so filling. If you are looking for restaurant quality at home then this is the place to go. Portions are great. We only needed one fries between the two of us.
I was that full I hardly ate anything for 24 hours. Good quality food/meat and I want another already!
Ordered twice recently. Burger was exceptional and well worth the expense in relation to quality. Sadly can't say the same for the gyro/flatbread which didn't include the red cabbage I'd asked for and was a bit too close to a good Turkish kebab which I can get for less in Oakthorpe. Also too much sauce for my liking which was how I felt about the loaded fries, though the meat content was very generous - offer sauce on the side perhaps? Timely delivery and polite staff. For me, the burger is a standout.
We ordered on Wednesday evening for the first time. Ordered directly on the website which was easy enough. The food was delivered exactly on time by a really friendly driver. The food was great but not piping hot which is why I've rated 4 stars otherwise it would have been 5. We loved the Philli cheese steak sub! It was huuuuge 😋 I think the burgers are a little pricey with how big the sub was but we did enjoy them.
