Visited early Monday just after 8. Quiet at that time. Had a large breakfast and coffee. Free refills. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Pleasant place.

Always a great place to visit, plenty of space and a nice conservatory style 'eating' area. Always a great atmosphere with the locals from around the Swadlincote area. Plenty of new and varied real ales at great prices, along with a large selection of other draught and bottled drinks available. Plenty of of well cooked food options with daily specials. Friendly staff

Emily is a credit to the company! I was allowed to try a couple before I bought and settled on the Eagle APA, (would recommend!). The pub/restaurant was clean with some interesting artefacts on the walls. The frontage is impressive and looks like a country pub despite the concrete jungle. I sat in the conservatory which was well lit due to the amount of glass. Not too impressed with the shields though!

Always a good stop for a quick low cost breakfast and an unlimited refill coffee on a morning. It's always busy in the conservatory and you go get a few locals who designate their seats, so beware of the elders who may snap up your chair if you pop to the lou! The staff are always smiley and friendly and the atmosphere always lovely.

Always full, food is good, typically £6.00 to £7.00 for a great breakfast and tea/coffee. Very friendly staff. Super value for money, nice atmosphere.

Great staff with a warming feeling too the pub . Good food with a small waiting time from ordering to eating ! A lot of new faces behind the bar and sorry that waiting to get served has gone from good to bad 👎 could be staff need more training ? Mixed experiences from visit to visit but still a good pub. Alot of different staff turn over now but still a very popular pub with great food n drinks . Service is getting better and the food as good as always , pity the prices are going up again soon " God help the pub industry because no political party wants to unless you're here illegally and that's for a different review " cleaning tables of used plates and glasses is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Very good Wetherspoons pub, usual super prices " the more you drink, the more you save" as my 5 pint Irish mate would have it. Very good bar staff happy to engage in banter. Clean and tidy bar - lots of free parking nearby.

Food was awsome but wish the staff members would listen to there customers properly when ordering, as my order was wrong, the rice was like bloody rubber tonight, think coming here every Thursday is getting too much

Another great experience at The Sir Nigel Gresley, they are very covid aware and make the experience very comfortable. There is still a good choice on the menu, and they prefer app orders at the moment. They are quick to deliver what you have ordered and don't make you feel hurried. It's a great place for a cheap fix, with very friendly staff 👍

Does what it says on the tin. Cheap, clean, nice pint, average food, toilets not in the next county. Go there.

Enjoyable pub, quite a local feel to the place. Set in a square, there's some outdoor drinking available. Nice food and friendly service. Different areas inside to sit, so find where's most comfortable. Great Wetherspoons value on both food and drink.
