I brought my mum to Havana hair studio as I couldn’t find anywhere that could was and perm my mums hair without her having to get out of her wheelchair they did this with ease the staff were very pleasant while mum had her hair done I went to the bistro for coffee great atmosphere

I brought my mum (who has dementia with Alzheimer’s) and dad here for lunch with my brother. What a lovely place for families to meet.
The whole place is staffed by friendly, kind and very attentive people. Lunch was exactly as we ordered, substantial and very tasty.
We hope to be back again very soon �
We had our wedding here and it was fantastic. Everybody loved it and the food was great. They did everything we wanted, right down to the littlest detail. A special thank you to Jane for everything. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic night on Saturday 16th December for our Christmas work do. Hollywood themes, Everything was superb. 2 fantastic singers, disco and a luxury buffet. Would definitely come again :-D

Had my nans wake here. It is a function room was very nice and the location Oakland Village is in is also a quiet location too. The buffet was also very nice.
Attended a 60th birthday party here. Great venue.buffet was excellent. Downside lots of drinks at bar ran out early hours. Mostly those on tap.
Went there for the wife to get her eyes tested. Lovely Cafe with friendly and helpful staff with a great menu with a specials board " changed daily " pie of the day , roast of the day and soap of the day. They also have a lovely little hairdresser up stairs. Will definitely go back when the bar n function room is open.
Revisited for my wife to get her booster for COVID-19. Very helpful staff & all amenities clean & tidy with building. NHS staff brilliant too!
Visited Tootsies for our our treatment today toe nails cut to perfection, certainly good for anyone on pension & reasonably priced too with friendly staff too! I would recommend to friends & family.
The carvery was lovely the vegetables were just right and the meat just melted well worth the price
Called for my Covid jab and was most impressed by Oakland village especially the community hub. It was beautifully designed with various rooms, a small shop, all enclosed with a great many mellow pine features. A truly stylish example of what can be done for the community if the powers that be really try....well done South Derbyshire and Swadlincote.

Disappointed at finding all people attending were almost at the same time resulting in being called in 20min late
Only came here for my booster jab, but it was all laid out very well, and helpful volunteers made the process relatively swift. Since it was a one-way system through the vaccination room, I got to have a look around the outside of the building en-route back to the main entrance, and it looks really nice. Tidy, modern, and they appear to have excellent facilities.
