A small museum but full of interesting history about the pottery industry of the area. Also a small exhibition about the National Forest with many suggested walking leaflets. An excellent cafe is available serving homemade cakes, soups and snacks. Spent about 2 hours.

Tells the history of ceramic manufacture in Swadlincote along with some beautiful examples. Also more information about toilets than I wanted to know

Great exhibits from Sharpe's history as well as general local history. Good cafe. Home to Magic Attic (historical records organisation). They're also an entertainment venue.

A pottery museum within the Sharpes pottery complex. A lovely shop selling local artistic crafts and displays. The magic attic for historical research. A super large cafe with inside and outside seating. Always a special dinner board and lovely choice of cakes. Food is beautifully cooked and very reasonable prices. Sausage sandwiches are a favourite of ours....like your Nan used to make. There is always either children's or adult events on during holidays and weekends.

Popped into the cafe while working in the area. Menu is a little limited but it's the kind of thing you'd expect attached to a museum. Staff were great. Very friendly and gave me a cup of tea as an apology for a delay with my food (I didn't think it had been that long!) Very nice cheese toastie followed by pancakes with strawberry sauce and cream
