Tasty wonderful food, good atmosphere and staff are friendly and welcoming. We had Chicken korma/bhuna, special/mushroom rice, cauliflower bhajis, Sag paneer, naan and poppadoms, plus X2 Pepsi all came to £45, all food on menu reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

I was just walking past this place and popped in for a quick meal. I had an excellent chicken palak and paratha. Lovely food, good value, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated plus the staff were helpful and attentive. All you can ask for in a local restaurant. This will be my new local and takeaway as my old one closed. Chatting to the owner, he's been there over 20 years. Always a good sign.
I have always found the food at this restaurant totally authentic and delicious with very generous portions . The staff are extremely friendly and polite. They are very accommodating if you would like a particular dish altered to suit your taste . Even with delivery the food is hot, promt and to the same excellent standard as the restaurant food. My first choice for an Indian meal in this area.
Ordered from here a few times and service is always excellent, food is tasty and portion sizes are great.

Our favourite Indian restaurant. Never disappointed
Its a local curry house to me, which i visited for the first time the other day. Myself a couple of friends had a really nice meal, service was good we weren't rushed nor were we waiting any length of time for the food to arrive. When the food arrived it was hot from the kitchen and its was very tasty. I've had a few curries out and about recently and i can say this was one of the best. Prices are as you would expect nothing was unreasonably charged , and the staff are friendly which always helps.

I've been using India Cottage both as a restaurant and a take-away for close to 20 years. Never once have I had anything other than the best service and delicious food. The service is impeccable and very friendly; nothing appears too much trouble for the staff. Can't imagine how anyone could be disappointed with any aspect of this restaurant.
