This is the 2nd time we have been here! ... Friendly staff, excellent quality food with good location.
A lot of varieties on the menu, and really good price.
The staff run the restaurant with their heart, even the plates served are preheated, and foods are hot and fresh.

A locals pub off the beaten track that could at first appear a bit daunting to the casual pub goer, but has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff that you can see have a good rapport with their regulars.

Friendly staff, went midweek so was pretty quiet. Was able to find a spot to sit and eat dinner. Their food was nice. Visited again on a Friday night, it was a very different experience. Loud music, lots of loud chatter and singing along, great atmosphere. Still plenty of seating, but avoid if you want a quiet chat. Parking wasn't an issue either day. I got the impression they were dog friendly from their website, but didn't see any dogs on my visit.

The service we received in this pub was exceptional. There were 2 families in our party and the guy serving us reserved an area for us so the kids could run around. The food was very good and also very cheap! Going to make it a Sunday ritual
Arrived at opening time on Sunday and we were given a warm welcome at the bar.
Our drinks and food orders were taken efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Food was served hot and tasty.
We would definitely return if we are in the area again. Thanks for a great meal and service.

Came here for lunch for my boyfriends birthday and it was a great afternoon the food was lovely and they evening did a special pudding for his birthday☺️ Sharney is a great team leader and always makes sure we’re well looked after!! Our Lovely local!
We popped into the Butterchurn and ate some lovely nachos, veggie fish less fish and chips, salad and garlic bread. It came quick and warm and the service from Mark and Hayley was really wonderful. They were really efficient and fun to talk with and to be table served by. It wasn't busy in there but really nice to see families and children around enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was really chilled but up beat through the staff's wonderful personalities. It was really clean throughout the bar and eating areas and it is clearly kept spotless regularly...especially the toilets...which some pubs can be awful. Highly recommended for food and wine as there is a large range. Really lowdown to earth pub. Thanks for a lovely eve. We will definitely be going back 🥰
What can I say. Absolutely lovely staff surroundings are great, fantastic people. Two car parks amazing food all decently priced. The staff are so welcoming, especially one member of staff Charlie, what a smile, great banter. And so much fun to be around. Children are welcome too! BONUS! all are welcome please come and see for yourself.

Little pub between the houses, freindly staff, nice food, good atmosphere
Good selection of beer and wine, menu selections good and reasonable price. Outside seating area but not in an enclosed garden. Dogs welcome, no children after 9, not even in the garden. Family run pub, however, they are not all friendly which is a shame.
