Satay chicken. Does the nicest Satay Chicken!!! Good value and never had a bad experience there. Definately recommend it!
Been going here for over 28 years and always good food at good prices. We've tried almost everything, except seafood, and it's been very good. This isn't a high end restaurant so you need to set your expectations that this is a take away which fill you up. So if you want some good food at good prices, this is the place.
Service is a generally good, but if you end up with one of the 'more mature' servers you may need to be a bit patient. Don't think they've ever got the order wrong which is also pretty amazing.
It's a small take away so not really any atmosphere. Parking outside is limited and you need to pay before 6pm. If you are driving you may be able to stop on a yellow line and send someone in to collect it. Or park behind the station (free for 10 or 20 mins) or in Morrisons (2 hour limit).
There is a disabled parking spot on the other side of the road, almost opposite it but not exactly opposite.
Best Chinese take-away by far in the area imo. Have been going for over 20 years and could count on one hand the time's I was not happy with a dish.
I've lived in Sutton for over 30 years and the Melbourne has been here all that time and with good reason.
The food is tasty and well priced and for me this is the go to place for takeaway Chinese food.
As some other reviewers have noted the family that run this can seem distant and on occasion, rude. To be honest, I've just become accustomed to this and its become part of the charm of the place.
Food is prepared extremely quickly making it feasible to order and wait in the shop. Delivery is also available though.
Nice food. Fairly quick service. 10 minutes. King prawns used to be better. A bit dry now. Make sure you tell them if you need a big or small portion to avoid getting now what you meant to order. Delivery takes up to 45 minutes.
Really good food. Bit of a wait for it to arrive, especially on a week day and they did get one rice wrong but other than that, food was tasty, hot and good quality/quantity. Would definitely recommend
One of the oldest Chinese Takeaway in Sutton. It is family owned and managed and it is my favourite Chinese takeaway. They services is fast, you get a good value for money and the food is delicious.
The best Chinese takeaway in Sutton. Try their Chicken Chow Mein, Sea Salt and 5-Spice King Prawns or their Mongolian Lamb!
Nice food. Fairly extensive menu of typical Chinese dishes. I used it quite a lot and enjoyed everything I've taken away.
