Even a chain of restaurants can vary in quality, this harvester is at the better end of that chain, although service leaves is slow.
We had late lunch on Monday :) did not book the table. Not crowded. Staff are generally friendly but bit slow service. I think less staff are working on weekdays. Salad bar some are fresh some are not fresh. And looks like the chicken portions small than before. Still good tasty 😋 toilet was clean and lots of space for car parking 🅿️ you need to enter your car reg at front till. Lunch set also available but we ordered separated main and drink each. Total we paid around £40 !! I think it’s still good price !!
First time visiting here and was a very pleasant experience. Food was very nicely cooked. Staff were very friendly, especially our waitress Jackie, who made a great effort to ensure we had a great time. Keep up the great work.
Haven't been to a harvester for a while, I was surprised to enjoy the food and menu selection. This was a flat bread and was delicious, meat was tasty and the bread was beautifully cooked! Will be returning.

This place is on my doorstep, looks like it could do with some updates to the outside but once you step foot indoors service is impeccable. Each time, you are welcomed by the loveliest set of staff who are so accommodating and nice, from the start and right up to the end. I told my friend if we choose any Harvester this one has the best quality food. Tonight however was just exceptional. Served by 2 ladies who went above and beyond to make mine and my old friends dinner, with our 2 daughters, such a lovely dining experience. Food quality is very high already , but we had asked for our steaks to be checked as they were a little overcooked. Without a blink, the chefs and the waitress returned with our new steaks cooked to perfection and not a single gripe; happy that we were happy. Could not have been more grateful and it was delicious! Bills were split seamlessly at the end with our Groupon voucher and even though we were last to leave tonight, the staff still had smiles as we left bellies stacked! Epic restaurant. The Plough was a pleasure to visit today, me and my husband had lunch and it was delicious, well cooked and good sized portions. The lady who welcomed us and served us was so friendly,upbeat and polite even though she was so busy with other people she treated everyone like it! Would definitely visit again!
Went here for a birthday, the service was outstanding, they made sure all meals arrived around the same time so no one was waiting.
Our server had received the cake in advance and brought it out and provided plates and utensils.
Everyone, including the children had a great time.
Great food and service and decent prices. And gotta love the salad bar :)
I love this restaurant so much. The food is absolutely incredible and the free salad definitely adds a lovely touch to the place. One thing that Harvester could improve is the waiting time for your meal however the food is nothing less than perfect so I can’t give this restaurant any less than five stars. 🐻💫
Really surprised on how nice the food was all of my family was very pleased with their food as well. Can't wait till we go back again. The waitress was also fantastic I just can't remember her name.

My reflections on the food is not based on the quality of the food supplied by the chef but based on the new breakfast menu rolled out by Harvester. While I was there today I observed 2 groups look at the new menu and walk out. Please bring back the old breakfast menu. Also with this new menu rollout you cannot swap out items, instead you have to pay extra for items you wish to swap in. That is a money grab, and what about those who need to swap something out because of allergies?
I feel sorry for the staff here as they are all great without exception, but they are the ones who have to listen to the customers rant about the new menu and how bad it is. The food you get is good quality but the menu change is very bad.
Everything was great! Salad bar could be better was dry and limited but rhe staff and mains was absolutely amazing. The food was hot, moist and just mouth watering.
I loved my trip with my family. The server Jackie was so kind and loving and so hardworking we really appreciate your kindness. You are a star . The food was amazing

Staff are friendly but seems to be a bit busy. Waited for a bit long to place the order for food. Perhaps there are not enough staff? However, staff working there are very hardworking and very friendly indeed. Highly recommended!!
