Wow, this place has changed... for the better! New owners have completely revamped the place. New decor and new menu.
The service was good and I could feel that they wanted to do their best. The owners run the place and so they have the desire to please the clientele.
The menu is basic but adequate, and very reasonably priced. The quality of the food was as expected for the price, and the house wine was very good value.
Years of neglect means that it will take a while for the new people to overcome the bad reputation of the previous owners, but these people look like they might just well succeed.

Me and my cousins recently visited this restaurant after seeing some great reviews. We were really impressed with the quality of food; the table serviced buffet was really good value for money. We were shocked to be the only people dining in but learned that weekdays had become exceptionally quiet. Please support this local restaurant by dinning there if you feel comfortable or ordering take outs; it's delicious and the staff are humble and kind.

The hostess at the Yangtze was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The choice of food was amazing and the portions were big and very filling.
All the food was hot, plentiful and very tasty.
The price also, if we had paid, would have been very reasonable, the wine was good and was not over priced either.
A great place to eat delicious food and not pay over the odds for an alcoholic drink.
I would 100% recommend this restaurant for either eating in, or getting a take away from, you will not be disappointed!!
Yangtze is a nice and modern restaurant and the new decorations are beautiful. Yesterday, I went there with my parents. The food was very very delicious and appealing. The servings were large and the prices are reasonable too. I do recommend some dishes, like King Prawn Tempura, King Prawn Balls with Salted Duck Yolk, Dry Shredded Beef, House Special Spicy & Chilli Chicken and Salmon in Black Bean Sauce. We are very satisfied with their services as well and they are doing an excellent job as a new restaurant. I will definitely go there again and I would recommend the restaurant to my friends and family.
This place has changed hands and has new owners. Been twice since, once with family and once with the girls. Food is very tasty and prepared as ordered. Not like these buffet places. Presentation of food is good and the price is pretty decent. The only thing I could complain on is the warmth of the restaurant. It's was pretty chilly.

Tried this local restaurant for the first time this evening. Food was lovely, hot and freshly cooked and service was excellent. Plenty in a portion and took home what we couldn't finish there. Will definitely use again and would recommend.
Friendly staff. Great food. Decent selection for buffet. Food came quick and hot. Wasn't busy when we went. Would recommend. Sitted quickly. Great atmosphere. A little dark in the evening.

We have been to many Chinese restaurants in London and this is genuinely one of the best - authentic, fresh and delicious food. The restaurant has recently changed management and the service is brilliant. We highly recommend Yangtze Restaurant to anyone looking for good Chinese food and we will definitely be back.
We went to Yangtze,for the first time last week,and as soon as we entered the hospitality was very good.
We ordered the starters which were amazing,you could see that it was all home/freshly made and not soaked in grease.
All the courses were amazing I would definitely reccomend this place if you are looking for a clean tidy nice Chinese.
Food was delicious and so much to choose from all cooked perfectly and staff were very attentive and welcoming definitely will be returning thank you

Wow what can I say food was very tasty,has loads of delious food on the menu,people who work there are very friendly and make you welcome and 10/10 for cleanliness, and not expensive,will certainly go back there in the near future
