This is a fantsic pub with beautiful views and gardens. The staff are very welcoming , we have booked for a party in the barn and they have been so kind and helpful. The food is good for prices and quality as well. We would come again and when they have the quiz on or a band as well. The decor is really nice its an oldy world feel but beautiful. There is a small car park on the back but road parking is available.
This is more of a family pub. Atmosphere is not lively but its very friendly. Great choice of drinks and the food is great. Not Michelin star but tasty and filling. The garden is superb and the views over the Kent countryside are superb..
Lovely pub. All staff are very welcoming. We was a group of 11 and they were very attentive. We all had roast dinners and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back again.
Great place to eat. Not a pub chain so interesting menu. View from immaculate garden is great
Lovely village pub with great food and friendly staff. We popped in for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how good the burger was! The inside is super cute and they had a fire going later that evening (we popped back for a drink!) Couldn't recommend it more. We will be back!
(Several) decent pints of Goachers consumed. Well kept, compliments to the landlord. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed freshly cooked ciabatta sandwiches, all good.
Really nice country pub with friendly bar staff and other patriots great atmosphere will definitely be back
Lovely well manicured garden with great views across the Weald. Bit of a sun trap on a sunny afternoon 😎
We booked in here for a family Sunday lunch. At first my wife was a bit nervous as we were the only people eating but it turned out great! Really nice food made with care. Very nice ales. Lovely view. The locals will hopefully remember their local pub and come back to it soon.
Great rural pub. Good selection of beers and ales. Staff friendly and helpful. Great garden and other outside areas. Prices as expected for a rural non chain bar ( slightly more but still reasonable).
Popped in for a quick pint before moving on our holiday, loved the feel and atmosphere, visited the garden which was stunning congratulations to the owners obvious hard work and diligence.
We were greeted by a professional and polite young man who tended to our needs.
We liked it so much we found accomodation locally for the night and returned for dinner and drinks.
The food was spot on perfectly priced for good tasty portions prepared in a timely manner. Guinness exceptional.
Well done and thank you for your hard efforts in maintaining a quintessential English Country Pub.

Nice food, pleasant staff. Just a long wait between ordering and getting the food. Dessert was served to our group at different times. Some had finished whilst others were still waiting.
Lovely village pub, beautiful garden with a stunning view. The beer was fantastic, Goachers (local brewery) Fine Light was delicious.
Beautiful pub and very kind and generous staff. We broke down whilst driving through Sutton Valence and had to wait 14 hours for a tow truck to come and get us. We went to to The Queens Head to wait for our tow truck and the owners were so accommodating. When the pub closed they left us with some tonic water and take away cups (we mentioned we had a bottle of gin in the boot) so we could at least enjoy a drink whilst we waited through the night. Very friendly people.
Nice pub not food oriented very friendly food available
Had a really lovely meal here, great range of drinks and food and so very reasonable compared to other pubs. So will be back soon.
I chanced upon this place after walking a leg of the Greensand Way. Its a really friendly place full of character and serving very good beer. Check out the Goachers Ale thats brewed down the road in Maidstone. Keep up the good work guys - really enjoyed my visit 👍🍻
