We searched for a roast dinner close where we were staying. We needed family, dog and fussy eater friendly - the Springhead was absolutely perfect. We sat outside under cover with heaters and a beautiful view. The food was incredible and a carvery is perfect as the children could 'pick their own'. Q
Great pub with a fantastic Sunday Carvery. All the staff are really helpful and make you feel welcomed. Well worth a visit.
We had amazing night. Service and food were amazing. The ambiance of pub was brilliant. Staff were so friendly. Especially, Mollie was amazing. She had very positive energy, very nice service during our dining time. She has been helpful. Thank you all :)
Beautiful pub nestled in a cute dinky village next to a running stream. Amazing food with a good choice of vegetarian options too which is always a plus!

Fantastic place, wonderful food. We had the Sunday lunch, the beef was cut about an inch thick , beautiful crust but still pink in the middle . All the veg was cooked perfectly. The Yorkshire pudding was as big as the plate and delicious . The red cabbage was to die for . Thanks for a wonderful ex

The pizzeria out back is weird, and cash only, which caused several trips to and from the bar for order, cashback and pickup, and it's served in a pizza box, which is impractical on a table with others eating pub food, and drinks e
Fantastic food and service Jo and Vikki are a perfect team going that extra mile to ensure their guests are looked after. Sorry we couldn't make out George III on his horse on the chalk hills and thanks for a great meal and for all you did to make our visit memorable 😀
Great evening tonight at the spring head - turned up without booking and they managed to seat us! Credit to the young girl who delivered our food and cleared our plates etc! She was lovely and polite and helpful! Sorry I didn’t get her name but we did leave a tip which unfortunately she had to share
