Beautiful shepherds hut on a beautiful farm with amazing hosts. Would 100% return! Dog friendly and had horses nearby to say hello too along with lovely walks.
This little gem of a campsite is set out of the way on a little back road, perfectly situated 12 minutes drive from mablethorpe.
We couldn't have asked for anything better and the price was great to.
The whole grounds where lovely and clean with plenty of campers all excited to enjoy themselves.
Friends where made while we stayed here and everyone was so polite and cheerful.
Kids all played happy with one another, playing ball games running and even taking the dog for a walk.
The toilets were cleaner than ours at home with soap to hand and paper towels to dry.
The noise level was so low at night that we thought we had gone def.
The cafe was well stocked with everything on the menu from a full English breakfast to scones and tea.
We couldn't find anything to complain about this was like the royals Royce of campsites compared to the ones we had been to before.
Thank you poplar farm for making happy memories for us and our kids.
Absolutely love this site! Fantastic owners who do their upmost to accomodate your needs, camping as it should be! Second time visiting and we've fallen in love with it even more. New shower and toilet block is super!
Camped with electric hook up in the orchard and it was so peaceful. Full of birds; swallows, kestrels, buzzards, garden birds galore and a resident barn owl. Breakfast in the tearoom was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Just wished we could have stayed longer! Boo to work!
A year on and we're back again! Enjoyed pie and pud in the cafe on Friday evening and Caribbean food on Saturday evening. Owners are as wonderful as ever 😊
Brilliant camp site. Good rates, great be Antique Tea room which serves great breakfasts and Coffee and home made cakes and jam. Very homely and friendships daily made with Helen who is a wonderful host.
Pretty caravan site. Looks like it would be lovely in the summer months. I looked at one of the glamping pods/lodges and they are really lovely. Very clean and so cosy and welcoming!
Friendly campsite. Good facilities. Afternoon tea is definitely to be recommended. I have visited/camped eight times and never been disappointed.
Nice campsite, and cabins good bbq/fire pit areas
Quiet and calming not too far from beaches and amenities
Lovely family run site. Relaxing laid back environment. 😌
Absolutely loved our stay here! Couldn’t have been more relaxed. Helen and family/staff are all extremely friendly and wonderfully chilled and accommodating. Shabby chic style cafe serves gorgeous food (my daughter loved the edible flowers) and it was great to see the farms produce in the shop. Would describe this place as giving a sense of genuine freedom. Totally unpretentious. Perfect!
Amazing little find. Lovely choice of food, we both had a full breakfast and it was so tasty and fresh. Lovely staff on service, attentive at checking in and if you want more toast or tea.
Great little shop area too where I bought a gooseberry jam and have enjoyed it too. Will definitely be back and would recommend
Amazing, genuinely.
My family (8 people) went for 'Afternoon tea' and the food was all made fresh, admittedly it took a while but it was Incredible.
They had animals there too, and my sister liked the horses there. One person saw she liked them and let her feed them and pet them.
The people are really nice and it's really worth going to
This is a lovely place. We are caravaning here as part of a rally group on our holiday. £10 a night, flat field, self sufficient.
The farm makes and sells their own cakes and does some very nice cream teas in the cafe. Lots to do around the area, and the children are happy and contented. Job done.
Had a lovely night stay on this site. Grass pitch near the facilities which were were squeaky clean. The site is a relatively short walk from Sandilands and the beach. The cafe looks pretty decent and the paella night was pretty packed (so packed we couldn't get in, so go early)
(Perhaps I should have mentioned this its 50p a night for a dog but as seems to be the trend I am not sure what the additional charge covers would welcome some clarification)
I visited this site to see some family friends and this visit was their first stay here. (They had stopped at the site next door which had plentiful amenities. However NO VISITORS were allowed) was quite stuffy and all rules. This site however made you feel very very welcome and it was a pleasure to be there. The site sraff were also very friendly and happy to have you as a guest. The bar, restaurant/cafe were also of the same culture and it was a really relaxing and pleasurable place to stay
A fabulous unique family run business, serving exceptional fresh home grown food, prepared on site, at extremely reasonable prices & served to you with a smile. It also offers you a good variety of home made jams, honey, cakes, etc & insights to the local area. Well worth more than one visit. Highly recommended, love it, love it, love it.
We have visited this site multiple times over the years, never been less than 4 stars, always great service from nice people.
Most recent visit is 5 stars again, excellent camp site with a country walk to the coast. (Crosses main road once).
Highly recommended, but then we like Sutton, no arcade or rides at all just beach.
