Popped in for lunch today with my son, 3 staff on and all very pleasant staff on 2 young men served us one made our subs very pleasant and helpful can’t remember his name and the other young man Tobi served on the till very pleasant and very helpful, he had 3 more hot drinks to do before mine and he took all drinks to the customers table instead of people standing waiting, top service from a fast food establishment. Very clean environment, I even used the toilet while there and surprised it was very clean and didn’t smell like most places do……keep up the good work.
To be honest I’m a frequent user of Subway. I usually have a long foot sandwich made custom to my taste. I’ve been in a lot of places but this one I like it a lot because of one single person. His name is Tobi and god is he good! Knows how to talk with customers, is fast when needed, sadly his colleagues are not that fast or that interested…I even met his bosses the store manager and two other area managers and none of them was as nice as Tobi was with me. Apart of great talks with customers he knows the business and when to recommend other products as well. He asked me today if I have a Subway card which I’ve had but completely forgot about it in previous purchases. He is that person if I would have the opportunity to tip him for every kind thing, he will be rich! Thank you, Tobi!
App is a bit clunky so redeeming your reward points can be a headache. Food is normally very good and staff are very efficient although method of service can be tediously slow if there are many customers and you haven't pre ordered .
Went into Subway today for my favourite order. 6inch Meatless steak hearty italian, with tomatoes, lettuce, teriyaki sauce, crispy onions and monterey jack cheese.
A man named Tobi served me today and he was absolutely incredible. Perfectly toasted my bread and was really friendly. Would definitely come back just to be served by him. 10/10 would recommend. Very clean bathrooms too!!
Didn't catch a name but thank you to the lady working in the store on 22.07.2023. Thank you for the lovely message on the food box telling us to enjoy our day and for being so kind and helpful in assisting with the just eat order (our driver drove off without delivering the food and claimed he had delivered it)
friendly staff, quick service
BEST SUBWAY, I don't even have to ask for my food, they already know what I want, I've been to many subways, and this one is by far the best.
Despite being extremely busy, we were served pretty quickly and the staff were all pleasant.
It's a very clean restaurant and the staff are really friendly and polite. They were all wearing gloves and masks too, so extremely hygienic and covid safe.
I had the breakfast mega melt and a large latte and it was very nice indeed. It was all made to order and served piping hot. I would definitely recommend it to others. The only comment I would make, is that I wish there 'large' hot drinks were bigger, as their large drinks are only the size of many other restaurant's regular sized ones. Other than that, no complaints at all.
There is also a good sized disabled access toilet there which is very clean and well taken care of.
As always fast service. Good fresh food znd so much salad in my sub with refillable drinks. Hard to go wrong.
Just called in here for a sub. Great staff, friendly and efficient service with a smile. Very clean and the steak and cheese sub was fab. Thanks guys 😊
I have complained about poor service here in the past. Too often delivery orders took priority over normal customers. I am amazed how they have turned this around. Long queues are gone and I am convinced that Sutton rates as the best in the area. All revamped and a pleasant experience as it should be. Well done Lakeside.
Just a good Sub and helpful staff good all round
Clean, fresh food, friendly service. One issue is the music playing that means the server and the customer spend time repeating questions and answers. Also some new staff tend to skimp on salad. Long term staff tend to have a good rapport with customers. Note if you're vegetarian they do a 3 cheese option with separate cheese in the salad section so not touched by 'meat hands plus good value for money.
We went for breakfast this morning. We was served by a lovely young man called Toby. He was extremely pleasant and just had a very friendly and welcoming aura. I’ve had a lot of subways but this is the first time I’ve experienced this level of service.
Not been here for quite a while and it showed with how much the prices have gone up but that's the norm these days
Food was good and service was spot on...can't fault them
