We came here for dinner and the food was really good, big portions and good value for money. The atmosphere is nice here too. We will return

Walked into the bar after taking exterior photos, is it just me who does this? Upon entry i was greeted by Sean the friendly barman and landlord, the local drinkers and their dogs, yes!! A dog friendly pub! You cant beat a dog friendly bar! Unfortunately today the chef is off sick so no food. A pizz
As good as ever, nice pub near the junction 28 of the motorway, heading A38 Mansfield direction, bearing left at the Snipe. Good food, pleasant landlord, what's not to like. Very much a traditional style pub, recommended!

Sizzling Wednesday night, had the Steak very nice, it came with 2 wraps and a portion of chips. The chips are triple cooked homemade 😋. And only cost £8. Go early as they can run out of them.
Lovely food and friendly staff a big thank you to the Scottish gentleman who works there who is very welcoming and friendly. On a Monday do a big mixed grill very nice and good price. 😀
Although it looks unassuming from the road this pub is a little gem - an extensive menu full of home cooked food at decent prices, friendly staff and quick service!
The food was delicious, well presented, that being said... Only when a certain chef is cooking. The other chef I avoid at all cost it's disgusting.
The bar staff are friendly and love a good chat and the waitress tries her best to provide excellent customer service.

Had a early evening meal and was pleasantly surprised at the decent quality of the food , Bar staff very helpful and friendly , It does get busy around the 7.30 pm time at weekends so I would book a table earlier than this .
