Every time I've been the service has been warm and welcoming. Food most of the time is very good given the price with the occasional average dish.
But hey....you've got to factor in the price. I'm not expecting Michelin star meals here but something tasty and good value for money.
By that measure, The Snipe pretty much always hits the spot.
Fantastic experience at The Snipe as always, the food is always spot on but the team are top notch. They welcome you with a smile and seem genuinely happy to be there and serve you. Recommend it to everyone!

Everything was bang on. Great service, great prices, and great food.
Staff are friendly and helpful and look after you throughout your visit.

Food was the best we have eaten in a hungry horse, we had the mixed grill and it was delicious and well worth the money. Candymania desert is a must and will defo feed a family of 4. it's a beast!
The menu offers something for everyone no matter what your dietary requirements might be, a really great selection of meals are available.
Nice atmosphere. The whole place is nice and clean and is well looked after.
If you're looking for good value pub grub, then you can not go wrong here.
We will defo be returning.

Great tasting food/ good range of drinks available. (Only pub/restaurant i know local that sell koppaberg 😱) and a good atmosphere majority of the time. Used to have deals on Sundays but not anymore, which is a bit of a bummer seen as that's the day we mostly go but oh well. Whoever planned the toilets/cubicles was a bit of a over sight as there more like kids toilets can hardly get in them but not a deal breaker.
Had 3 meals and we all enjoyed the food. I had a mini mixed grill and there was more than enough. Ordered my elderly mother a pudding then she decided she wanted to leave, the staff were very helpful and changed the pudding to takeaway. Would recommend.
Last two times ive been ordered katsu kicking banquet chips were cold, no salt and pepper seasoning on the meal which it states Is on the meal already, tables are never clean, had to ask member of staff to move plates etc which was still there and hour or so more whilst I was there, was there on Saturday the tables and my meal were the same, gone down hill...
Sorry but it used to be lovely in the pub.

Only downside is that the building is looking a bit tired 😴 and needs some sprucing up inside and out but that said ideal of a quick beer an some lunch

I have popped in today with my dog for a quick bite to eat. Great clean pub and friendly staff. The food was spot on and they even had gravy bones for my dog. Will be returning soon.

Wow this establishment is brilliant haven't been for a long time and forgot how wonderful it is, food is amazing and served piping hot and with hardly any wait time considering how busy they were, bar staff was friendly and polite cannot recommend enough will definitely be returning and bring friends and family. Thank you for a lovely meal
The food is standard Hungry Horse food. It's nothing special, but I'm not knocking it, for what it is it's fine. The staff are very friendly, it's cool inside with clean tables plenty of space around the tables and an interesting aesthetic to the interior.
Had a lovely steak cooked to perfection the wife had gammon also cooked to her liking,the staff were friendly and helpful.Julie behind the bar was lovely and helped me with some questions i wasn’t sure of and the rest of the staff were attentive,a lovely afternoon experience will definitely be back.

Green king do need to look at the reservation process though as alot of tables were reserved 3 hours before they were required. This is happening all over the green king pubs??

Amazing food matched with amazing service. Steven is very helpful and always entertains us with a chat. Weekday deals are amazing. Atmosphere is just magnifique, especially with the football on.
