My kids took me for Mother’s Day. We arrived megga early as we knew it would be busy and it was. We were able to choose where we sat and were able to sit away from people walking past all the time. Although the table was being cleaned as we stood there, the waitress apologised and asked if we had been before (which we had) and if we knew what to do. We beat the queues to pay for the food which was getting huge! The staff throughout were always polite and kept apologising for the delay. We got our food without having to queue for it and it was all piping hot and lots of it. There really was nothing to fault. The waitress came back and asked if were were ok and anything she could get for us. We did have to decline the offer of desert as we were stuffed. All in all it was very quick but that was our choice...we’d eaten too much and wanted to get back to relax. It was an enjoyable lunch and the food good and hot. Try it! It’s great value for money. 😊
We won the cake competion back in November time. The lovely ladies at kings mill farm made us three amazing cakes such a talking point and they tasted amazing thank you so much for saving the day ��� recommend again and again xxx

Decided I wanted a carvery and this place never let's me down for quality for the price you pay.
Wasn't too busy as only just opened the carvery but good customer service.
Only thing this visit that let it down was my drinks order took longer then expected to arrive it did arrive with a smile and a good service though.
What a great place with amazing staff. Adele was the perfect host. What a great team if people. First we stopped for the magnificent coffee and cake. Never seen cakes so huge. So big i brought some home. Then called back later for the carvery which was beautiful cooked to perfection and tasty. This is definatly one not to miss and worth the drive out just for a giant piece of cake. Now on our list of good places to eat with friendly staff who care about there customers.

Stopped in for a drink and a cake while visiting in Mansfield. First time visit and wow. The size of the cakes were huge as you can see from the picture, that lemon cheesecake was the best I've tasted up to date. It has a lemon curd type syrup though it and on the top. Some little candied lemon pieces and a big blob of whipping cream, whipped to almost butter cream consistency and it came with some single pouring cream too. It tasted absolutely Heavenly, i couldn't finish it all, but i had a good go.
Can't wait to visit again and try the carvery first before the cake 😊
This place is so much better. The cakes etc are still too big, a heart attack waiting to happen but apart from that it's all great. The carvery is brilliant, lots of choice of vegetables and the meat is very nice. The added bonus and this is why they get my vote over Toby Carvery is you can have a small plate if you're not a big eater like me. The staff are lovely and accommodating, the premises clean and well set out. Not bad prices either and lots of parking. Well done Greene King.
Compared to another carvery we tried nearby (which wasn't good), this was so much better. Perfectly cooked turkey and beef, a great choice of veg and everything piping hot. They even gave me a slice of cake free as it was my 60th birthday.
Came for carvery lunch today. As it was busy we sat at a bar table. Food and service was excellent. My dinner guest was amazed that the cutlery was sat at the table waiting for us when we came back from collecting our food even though we hadn’t provided a table number. Magical
Got all the family together and had great carvery. Great selection veg and there was 7 empty plates so must been good. Fantastic beef well done chef. Thank you Adele on the till for managing the most confusing cakeaway order, probably ever you did excellent. This is also the first venue I’ve seen that promotes blue light card.
It was a beautiful carvery, wonderful service and a lovely atmosphere. Only critique is to put the beef dripping potatoes before the normal roasties so i can avoid four kinds of potatoes!! 😂😂 other than that it was amazing best carvery joint in mansfield!! 😃😃
Our go to place for a carvery any day of the week. Food is always fresh, plenty of choice and hands down the best in the area. Booking is recommended as it's a very popular place in the area. Only thing I would say is that it's very carvery orientated and sometimes there is a bit of a wait for food off the normal menu, don't be put off by this though never had a bad meal from here
Excellent Food second time we have been here value for money and excellent choice on menu Karen asked if our meal was nice lovely lady and tried to tempt us with desert I said maybe next time!
Very nicely decorated and payed out with a nice seating area outside for when the sun is out. they have cake away with a wide selection they also have a carvery counter. I had the beef lasagna and my sister had a crispy chicken melody, both meals was pretty nice the only negative is that I ordered cheese garlic bread and it came as a side rather than adding cheese to the garlic that came with the lasagna but something small like that won’t stop from coming back.
Sunday afternoon at 2pm, the busiest time of the week for a carvery venue, and we hadn't booked. This place was packed. But within five minutes they had us seated, and it was quite spacious too, and twenty minutes later the food arrived, and it was great. Well presented and tasty, and plenty. Didn't have a carvery but have had one here before and that was brilliant too. Despite the sheer amount of customers everything was clean and everything was clockwork, everybody knew exactly what they were doing. The staff were tidy and polite. It's not a posh restaurant so don't expect crystal, but it's great value. I'm not going to say that everyone will have a perfect visit. But we did.

First time in this particular establishment. Have been to other establishments belonging to the same group and all are very good. I was pleased with how they catered for the mount of people in a short space of time. My wife and I took our grandson and his girlfriend (who lives local) out for lunch and we were not disappointed at the quality , size and presentation of the food. Four week ago we visited another branch of the group nearby and this was also excellent. keep up the good work and bt the way the cakes are huge and awesome.
