Great service and food even better. Beef from owners farm and staff were even better. I recommend the steak and ale pie.

A meal to celebrate our friends 'Diamond Anniversary'. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive, They even scattered diamonds (not real ones lol) on the table :) Thanks Mermaid Inn.............
We went with our two close friends last night Richard Mumby and Jane Mumby for a meal and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. Food was top notch, so nice to sit in what could only be described as a lovely local pub with a proper restaurant. The staff work very hard and are very friendly , nice to go somewhere and see properly trained staff. To the licensee your staff are a credit to you. Looking forward to coming back again. Would be an amazing place to hold an intimate wedding reception . �� ��

Fantastic place to eat and stay, very friendly staff and Karen the manageress is one of the nicest people I've met.. only here for 2 night with work but highly recommended.

It was my nephew 18th and there was 17 of us. Food was spot on and plenty of it and service was fantastic dealing with us lot. They couldnt of been more accomodating. Excellent.

My girlfriend and I attended a wake today at the Mermaid and I was very impressed with the way my girlfriend's needs was catered for as she is disabled but nothing was too much trouble. If we live nearer we would definitely be going more often in happier circumstances. Well done Mermaid, you made a sad day much more bearable for going that extra mile. Martin and Tracey. 😀
