The Brave New World - Surbiton - Photo album

Visited the Brave New World for the first time ln about 30 years when it was called The Bun shop for my neices birthday party. It was a very hot night but the hall was wonderful and there was an outside seating area to cool off. The bar staff were excellent and really friendly.. the 3 behind bar mak
I visited this place recently as a sort of pilgrimage, as my mum and dad ran it in the late 80s / early 90s when it was the Bun Shop..what a delight to be greeted by one of their managers who worked there with my parents back in the day! It's still got the Bun Shop community spirit and charm and I'l
I’ve just had my 40th birthday party at the brave and it couldn’t have gone any better!! Friendly attentive staff, reasonably priced bar, great dj, great party atmosphere and overall a fabulous night was had by all my guests!! Such a shame the night had to end!!
Staff are very friendly here and nice and clean. Not too expensive. And generally just a good pub. I really think everyone nearby should give it a chance, way better than prince of Wales !
We had an amazing night for my brothers 40th. The hall was awesome and the staff were amazing. Especially Dave Thatcher the manager and DJ on the night! Would highly recommend it
Had my wife's 50th birthday party there this weekend and it was absolutely brilliant. It has a very good private room at the back with bar, outside space and own loos. The manager David was a great DJ and all the staff were really friendly. Highly recommend for a party.
Great night out, amazing place. So much room. We had the hall plus separate smoking area and loo all to ourselves. Plus dj was epic. Big thanks to all the staff that made the day possible
Serves a decently poured beer. Was very quiet when I went in to watch footy which id just how I like it. Went on a Monday night. 2 young chaps behind bar where nice and friendly. Has small smoking area for those that need it out back. Toilets are like any pub toilets. Not a very big place.
We had a family event which was in the function room. Can't say enough about the management's generosity. A Hugh thank you from my family on our saddest of days. We supplied our own buffet as they don't do food in that regard. Great location for local residents.
Very friendly staff, great place to watch the football. Excellent pint of London Pride.
Watched football matches there. Friendly staff n fellow drinkers.
Barstaff are some of the best I've encountered and the Manager is an absolute Diamond.
Went there for a free comedy show the other day and had a great time!! The pub is cozy with a friendly atmosphere. There's a spacious inside as well as a nice outside area for those who wanna enjoy the good weather. The staff were very nice and the comedians gave us some good laughs. Prices are ave
Friendly staff, the people who host the open mic nights Ben and Tixie and the actual music hall which i think is perfect for professional gigs and its a star down by not having that. the structure of the building is good, the drinks were decent
Dated interior but def a place you love to hate and hate to love. Not much choice of whiskies but has a jukebox, friendly staff, beer garden and cold beverages.
Came here for a quick beer, I was pleased to see they had a DJ on I'm the back room playing some classic house. The staff were friendly and it seems to be a pub that's popular with the locals. I'd come back here again... hopefully next time they will have the same DJ on
