Great local pub with very friendly staff. Beer is good, food tasty and the pub quiz lots of fun. We happily pop in for a drink on the way home, weekend drinks or a meal. We have always found the staff to be very welcoming. Overall a good atmosphere making it a pub worth visiting.

A menu that proves it doesn't have to be extensive to be good, an excellent wine list, lovely staff and customers, and an open fire, what more could you want on a freezing night? Oh, and home made tartare sauce. Yum!

On the contrary to previous posts, me and several family members attended a charity quiz night at the berrylands tonight, of which we have no complaints what so ever! All member of staff were wonderful and polite, the beer was great and the quiz flowed smoothly. All in all a fantastic night in a wonderful pub.

I have started coming to this pub every week for the last three weeks as they have a pub quiz on Thursday, the community there are relaxed, inclusive and happy. The food is great and nothing super expensive, the portions are great, though the sharers may only cover 2 people for a meal, 3-4 if you are just getting something to snack on. Drinks are average prices £2 for a Pepsi, £4-6 for beer and cider etc. The quiz is awesome and run by Steve who is a brilliant quiz master. There is plenty of parking on the local roads in the evening, I'm not sure about during the day, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to figure out parking on a road away, and there is a K2 bus that is regular and Berrylands train station is about 30-60 seconds walk. I think a lot of pubs tend to over promise and under deliver, either on atmosphere, food or drink. Im not saying this pub is mind blowing and you'll tell all your friends about it, but to have a pub that is genuinely really comfortable for literally anyone is really nice, it leaves a smile on your face when you leave, and it's in a very nice, quaint and quiet neighbourhood that is very safe and is literally seconds from the train station. Relaxed and safe enough for kids and families, and dog friendly. Good food, good drink, good company, what else do you need?

A great local pub nearby to Berrylands station. There is quite a lot of outdoor seating and inside is very big with two separate sections. The price of drinks are very reasonable too. They also do nice burgers, which vary in terms of what they have. On Wednesday they often do 2-4-1 burgers and a selection of drinks on offer. A great all round pub.

Went to the pub for the lunchtime christmas dinner £12.50 advertised as smaller portions to the evening functions of £24.50 which i attended the friday before with my regency dance class. All i can say is superb. There were more choices for the evening meal, but as for portion sizes, i could see no difference. Both were generous sizes and i had lamb for the evening meal and turkey for the lunch time one. I could not eat it all so i wrapped some meat in a serviette and took it home for my dog. It took him 30 seconds to sniff it out of my bag and leg it upstairs. Needless to say i never saw it again, or the serviette! Faults with the meal could not be found however i think someone forgot the xmas crackers at the evening do, and the person who layed the table for both meals must have been left handed as they put all the spoons out the wrong way round. A small price to pay for perfection. Well done to the cook and staff at the Berrylands.

Came here for a party. Had a brilliant night. Pub seemed like the pubs I knew back in the early 80s, but in a really good way. Staff all very friendly and helpful, prices very fair. Food was supplied for the party, I’ll be honest I’m really not sure who did the catering, but it was all very good, a finger food buffet. There were two bars that I could see, not sure if there are other function rooms. Very near Berrylands station. Parking seemed easy.

Christening event. Food was fantastic. Staff really helpful and so willing to help. Steps to the garden have to be supervised for the kids but didn't want to leave. Sunny day and it was very busy. MP

Happened to go in on quiz night... very fun atmosphere, good burger. Had the 0% gin. Wasn't easy to see how to join in with the quiz and how much to enter but it was nice listening along

Even though they only do cod, which is not my favourite fish. I still think you'll get a better fish supper here than from the greasy chippy.
