WOW! Great, spicy, aromatic food, it was lovely! The owners were hands on, and friendly, their Wednesday special is very good value for money, and we were very impressed. We will be back, and we encourage you to try.
I class this fantastic restaurant as my favourite local. Friendly and attentive staff, delicious tasting food that is served promptly and all at reasonable price.
Im hoping to try their Wednesday night banquet in the near future.
Lastly, I'd recommend booking if you want a table on a Friday or Saturday night as they get very busy.
Great food and service. It's also cheap for London standards. I suppose Indian food in London is most reliable of all foods. The portions were big and was done very well. Waiters are very helpful and attentive too. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff.
Good atmosphere.
Lovely sheek kebab.
Food was great. Air con was just right. Service good.
I hadn't been here for a while and didn't have great memories of it. We actually only went in begrudgingly as the place we wanted to go to was booked out. I am so glad we did! Delicious food. Attentive service. Food came out quickly and was flavoursome and made me feel bad for not going there for so long. The chicken tikka manchuria was so tender and lush. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, it's not the place for a romantic dinner, but it was super busy (which is always telling) and they seemed used to it and coped (also telling). We will go back
Prithi is back in business and thank God.
After having to shut down because of a
fire they are back open. Whilst closed we
tried three different local curry houses
and none of them were a patch on Prithi.
What ever curry we order we always have
the Chicken tikka'd as you will not get
better bbq chicken. The tandoor chef is
a master the spicing is spot on and the
cooking is superb, the chicken is always
moist. Believe me after trying three other
curry houses and each one over cooked
the chicken you come to appreciate how
good Prithi is. The Prithi Tikka Massala,
Chicken Tikka Pathia were all excellent
and each sauce tasting different, the
onion bhaji crisp and perfect, the Brinjal
bhaji was cooked spot on. We have
eaten and had takeaways from Prithi for
decades and so glad they deliver to us
in Chessington, being closed has just
reminded us how special Prithi is
Really great atmosphere, fabulous food!
Great evening.
What great food, service and value. We went for the weds deal and the place was jam packed..I can see why! The food was lovely! My second visit and I was not disappointed!
Ended up going twice in 2 nights during my short break in chessington. This is the best food I've had in years. It reminds me of the Indian food we get in Scotland, something I've missed! Highly recommended going here.
Very tasty, reasonably priced. We get take away from prithi fairly regularly (10% off if take away)
Excellent food, as well as good customer service. Their peshwari naan was the nicest I have ever eaten from any restaurant. The food is definitely value for money.
What a lovely dining experience. Excellent service from professional people. Delicious food. Lovely calm, pleasant ambiance. An extra special destination for food lovers. 😋 💜💚🧡
I moved away from the area in 2012 having eaten here every other week for 3 years. Known to me as the sister restaurant to the Bilas Tandoori in Teddington (which sadly closed a few years ago) I was lucky enough to be able to go back and eat here again recently. It is still of the highest quality and the staff remain friendly and attentive. The food was superb. Highly recommend. The best Indian in the area and I've never found anything to better it.
I LOVE this place. Probably the best Indian restaurant we have had delivery from, and we have had a lot of them! Beautifully fresh ingredients, great quality meat, so so vibrant spices. Delicious. Absolutely recommended if you like quality (not sloppy) curries.
