As a Coeliac to find a gluten free Chinese is difficult. I normally stick to Indian as a different style of food and taste to English food. As most dishes are cornflour based. So to find a Chinese like this with a massive gluten free menu is amazing! I had sweet and sour chicken which I have not had in years and have missed it, it was amazing to get here and taste it once again, sent my taste buds crazy! I had other dishes too all were fantastic. They have something special here and it's lucky my father in law lives down in that neck of the woods so I can go to it, I live up in northwest London. They have found the right ingredients to make the gluten free Chinese food taste great and they should expand fast and open up more of these all over London they would make a killing before others jump on the bandwagon, they truly have something special! All coeliacs in London head to this place, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing. We have been 4 times now, with family and friends and everyone has loved it every single time - it is consistently excellent. Having been to some of the most highly lauded (and michelin star) London Chinese Restaurants, this one is so much better and in my opinion serves the best Chinese I have ever had! The staff are lovely too. I would definitely recommend.
Myself and my partner came to visit NC on the 30th June - I’m intolerant to both gluten AND soya, and haven’t had Chinese food in the longest time. I’d heard a lot about them being fantastic for gluten free, but I was really worried about my soya issue. They were absolutely out of this world - the staff were so knowledgeable and put me completely at ease, and I was able to eat all of my favourite Chinese dishes that tasted just as good, if not better, than I remember. They are amazing. I wish I lived nearer so I could visit every weekend! And my boyfriend, who can eat anything, really really enjoyed it too. FANTASTIC place. Well done guys!
Some time ago, I attended a fantastic corporate event at Naturally Chinese. I enjoyed the tasting menu so much; we stayed on to have a full course meal. Great Service, Great Food! Now that I am looking for somewhere special for Father's Day, I stumbled on Naturally Chinese Restaurant online again which prompted this belated positive review.
It's is so so good... in my opinion the best in the area.. and the gluten free dim sum are beyond good.
Really enjoyed my delicious gluten free japanese style nabe dish. The seafood, enoki and tofu went together perfectly. Highly recommended.
Great food for gluten free, service is not great on occasions and the automated 10% service charge is not great however we come here for the food and it's awesome
Amazing food as always - their crispy chilli tofu & eggplant and tofu are amazing! I personally love the ambiance, it's just right for what it is. Service usually is passable, but the last time we went there, the waiter slammed the plates down, was rude & snapped at a few friends at our table, and was impatient. Our attempt at mentioning this to another waiter at the end (or was it a manager - Lord I hope not) was shot down, laughed at and essentially ignored. Great food, good ambiance, awful awful awful service. Shame really.
A regular for me for dim sum and I try to go as often as I can for the cheung fun, pork buns and steamed chicken rice. Pretty good value too though prices have gone up!
Expensive. But the quality of the ingredients are high and it's exceptionally tasty
We had really great dinner here. Fantastic service and staff was very friendly!! Dumpling is the best ever for me. I think they made theirselves. We want to try other food next visit.and we enjoyed spicy noodle and salt and spicy tofu, and garlic veg sauce. The restaurant tasty is not salty and oily which we loved it. We will come back for lunch dim-sum!!!
Paid my first visit to Naturally Chinese yesterday and I can tell you, it won't be my last. Superb food clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Excellent service too. Both the owner and staff were delightful and so, so helpful explaining the different choices on offer. Highly recommended.
The clay pot with the silken tofu are absolutely delicious as well as the classics like sweet and sour chicken. We have been coming here for a few years and it is always nice. The fact that they offer gluten-free menu is also very inclusive, would recommend.
We arrived as a party of 5 and was greeted by a lovely polite member of staff, seated and served promptly.
While enjoying our ice cold beers we decided on dinner.
The pace of service was just right and our starters came out very hot, the pork and prawn dim sum was amazing along with the smoked chicken. Some of the best I've had after eating in over 30 chinese restaurants.
The beef fillet and asparagus was flavoured perfectly and so good one of my friends ordered another to take home to his wife.
Overall we had a great experience here and will be recommending to friends and family.
The best Chinese ever, especially if you are gluten intolerant or Celiac. FYI this place is approved by the Celiac foundation.
Anyway The food is fresh presented well the service is 5 🌟 and its quick from the min you walk though the door to the min you are sat down.
You do pay a quite a bit but you get the service you pay for and is well worth it.
There is a big variety so we are going to return to try the rest of the menu.
Very very impressed! The food here is second to none. You can taste that everything is fresh and they only use natural sea salt no MSG which makes a HUGE difference! I can honestly say if you've never been here you have to go! I don't think I will eat Chinese again until I go back here it is that good! The gluten free food is also incredible! (We had a celiac in our party) Thank you naturally chinese for serving real, tasty, perfect food
Basically stuck with the gluten free options as much as possible so that we could all enjoy.
The lemon chicken, ribs, and shredded beef were amazing. Prawn dish was also excellent, however maybe a little spicy.
Would visit here again!!!
Went for dinner..really friendly and helpful service. Really good food. It seems that this is the only exclusively Gluten free Chinese restaurant in the UK. Quite relaxing ambience and very nice loos (always a good indication of well organised restaurant). It took me an hour to drive to but I am certainly going again. Highly recommended.
Great place, especially as a coeliac. They are currently the only chinese place accredited by coeliac uk so felt safe. They have their certificate on display too. Felt that my requirements were normalised which made dining easier (asking unprompted if we wanted a gluten free menu), not asking questions about "how" gluten free I was, and the food was fantastic.... almost couldn't tell the difference! Even got gluten free sweets after the bill. Good staff and great food
My family had a very good experience dining here last week. The service was excellent, the menu choices great, and boy, the food.... Superb!! We ordered a 2-meat platter, the eggplant dish, hot and sour soup, special fried rice and some chicken dish (don’t recall the name). Everything had an amazing flavor and aesthetics. each dish very unique. Really recommend this restaurant.
This was my first ever proper Chinese meal due to being. Coeliac but I felt immediately at ease. When first sitting down we were asked if anyone had any allergies and I was given the gluten free menu. There was so much choice our group got everything gluten free so I could try a variety of dishes. When the sauces were brought out we were immediately told that they were gluten free which was a nice touch. My group told me that it tasted like normal Chinese which made me extra happy as this is a cuisine that had previously been inaccessible to me until visiting here. Will be visiting here again.
This gluten free restaurant is turning into my regular! Food is good served by friendly staff. During the week it can be busy however Sunday seems quiet.
I found the best HOT And SOUR soup in London! It's a tricky balance to get this soup right and Naturally Chinese in Surbiton definitely gets it. I also ordered the Peking Duck, Szechuan prawns and Singapore noodles. Wow! The flavours are incredible. I ordered Char siu buns to start with and they came out steaming hot in baskets. It was admittedly one of the best I've tasted. Service is very good, and the decor is pretty with lots of green plants around the restaurant. They also have a gluten free menu with dishes I never thought could be gluten free. I highly recommend.
My sister and I have to eat gluten free. This place has a great gluten free menu with tasty food. We came for dim sum and had shrimp dumplings, kai lan, and rice paper spring rolls. The dumplings were well steamed, rolls freshly fried, and the kai lan was perfectly seasoned and cooked with just a hint of its bitterness in the background.
Highly recommended Salted Fish Fried Rice. Real taste of Hong Kong Style!
