Absolutely love our experience here. Everything was made fresh and the owners are very friendly and very professional at the same time. Love their basket option of scampi, calamari and Strips with fries... Will defo return again.
This evening 13th May 2023 I ordered my food after a long day in Essex at a football tournament. As always the fish and chips were well cooked, tasty and delicious. The tall young blonde man who served me was exceptionally warm and friendly. He gave me such a warm welcome with his friendliness, attention to detail and customer care. A true asset to this already excellent fish and chip shop!Thank you young man. 😀

After the downfall of Ocean Blue in the area I decided to try Toppers.
Service was quick and easy. The fish and chips were tasty with hardly any grease which you can get from some establishments. The kids enjoyed their dinner and gave it thumbs up.
We will definitely go again and hoping the quality remains the same!
Great food fast service and very accommodating of allergies only fish and chip shop in the area to offer gluten free and very reasonable prices will be using time and time again. A very happy 5 stars.. And following social distancing excellent!!
Had some lovely gluten free fish and chips today, they are very aware of celiac disease and careful not to cross contaminate while cooking and serving. Lovely people too.
These guys have been serving me gluten free fish and chips for years. The only fish and chip shop for miles that do gluten free 6 days a week at a high standard and a fair price. I still struggle to find GF fish and chips since moving to London. I always visit when I'm back in town. Very underrated!

We heard that the shop is under new management and decided to give it a try as we had a craving for good old English Fish & Chips. What a surprise!!! A great meal of a generous portion of freshly fried fish and chips. Also had a great chat to the local owners that takes care of this classical British Fish & Chips shop. Highly recommended.
Since the new people have taken over, you get a 5* service, alot better than the persons before. The food is always fresh & hot. The owners are great. Worth a visit to see for yourself.
Really good fish and chips, ordered through their app and I turned up as it was all being cooked - fresh, hot and very good quality.
The chips and fish were in separate boxes.

Fantastic local chip shop that recently expanded its menu even further. Staff are very pleasant and the food is delicious. Definitely will get repeat business from me.

The management has fairly recently changed and the new owners are very friendly and always chatty.
The cod and chips is always extremely tasty and filling. I always purchase the regular size cod as that’s large enough!
Last time I ordered from here I got a halloumi wrap and chips. The chips were to die for - as always. However, the halloumi in the wrap was a bit over cooked and chewy.
Never the less I still ate the wrap and I would still order food from here again.
Very lovely and friendly staff. One of the best places I could find some Greek food with the original taste and recipe.
