The thin pizzas are fab and their home made coleslaw is one of the nicest I've tasted. It's a small pub, so if you're in a group, try to order ahead or be prepared to wait a while.

We had the Sunday roast. It was great, just like you would make at home but with a bigger selection of vegetables. Dogs are welcome, the fire is lit and it’s a nice friendly atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Oh and a lovely pint of Guinness according to the husband.

Love it. Love the pub. Love the atmosphere of locals having a drink in a warm pub in front of the fire. John the landlord gives a great performance and is genuine nice guy. A definite stop off for drinks and make sure to book by phone for a table for dinner.

I enjoyed the fact that I celebrated both my friends and my birthday and they had such a great cider. I also enjoyed the service that we were given at the bar, and it would be a good place to bring your children because the food is awesome.
Stopped in for an impromptu meal and pint and was not disappointed. Lovely staff and atmosphere and food was delicious; personally I would recommend the ribs. Good selection of lagers and overall great spot. My 25 year old friend was disappointed he couldn't go on the bouncy castle, but no complaint
