Found this restaurant on the open table website. Perfect! Excellent attentive service from the minute we stepped in the door. Gave us a lovely table by the window. It was a special evening for our wedding anniversary and we were visiting Windsor for the weekend. Couldn’t have made a better choice. Food first class and all the staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere. Quite pricey but worth it if it’s a special occasion. We booked online and they ask what occasion it is for. They presented our dessert on a lovely platter with happy anniversary and a candle. Was a perfect evening. Can’t complain about anything. If we didn’t live so far away we would def visit again. Thanks for a lovely evening

The food options were great, the waiters were very knowledgeable of what each dish contained and how it is cooked. The food was fantastic and I can recommend the scotch egg to start, it was beautiful. You can take as much time in there as you are not rushed to get someone else in like some restaurants.

Had a wonderful experience here last night. I informed the chef I was a vegan and he said he will make me a delicious meal. Well, I wasn't disappointed. It was unique and totally gorgeous. We received such fantastic service and were visited by the chef and Paul-who designed my meal. We are already planning s second visit. Top quality food and service. Highly recommend. Nothing is too much trouble.

Had a wonderful meal here with my wife and grandfather. Found the place on TripAdvisor and thought we'd give it a go. There's not much parking at the place, but we managed to find a spot round the back. The place could be easily missed if you're coming from the train station, but stands out clearly from the other direction. The inside was nice and cool on a hot day and we were surprised that it was so empty on a Saturday lunch. The owner recommended a few dishes on the menu and we were delighted at the many options there were, especially some Asian dishes which provided a nice alternative to your typical English restaurant food. To start I had the Prawns al Diabolo, which was recommended by the owner. The prawns were well spiced in a medium hot oil. It came with small slices of baguette which were perfect for dipping into the oil. My wife had the deep fried brie which came with a cranberry sauce, which I of course had a bite of - delicious! For mains my grandfather had the fish and chips, which was a good portion and he was raving about it after the meal so it must have been good! I managed to steal a few of his chips and they were just the way I like them: crispy on the outside and like creamy mashed potatoes on the inside. I had the masala fish with paratha, which was perfectly spiced. In fact my wife, who usually turns her nose up at restaurants attempting Asian spices, remarked that it was almost as good as her mother's, who grew up in Pakistan. The parathas were a great accompaniment to the fish, and were nice and flakey. The salad that came with the fish was also well seasoned and went well with the masala on the fish. My wife had the pan fried salmon which I am told was delightful and perfectly cooked with a nice accompanying sauce. We couldn't pass up on dessert and we're glad we didn't. We had coffees, a mango cheesecake, and sticky toffee pudding, all which were very tasty. The one thing that made this place stand out was the owner who clearly cares about the place and was so friendly and passionate about his menu. Definitely a place that I will be returning to in the future.

We were made welcome on arrival and all the staff were friendly. The food was excellent, we enjoyed the delicate flavours of the lamb shank, and the sea bass.

A beautiful breakfast in a boutique restaurant with a soft chill jazz ambience. The food was cooked perfectly with flavours. The coffee was high end with a smooth and rich taste. The service was inconsistent. The initial waitress was great, friendly and attentive. The second waitress was blunt and slightly rude which was a let down.

Me and my husband have been visiting The Tablespoon Brassarie for quite a while now. We do not dine there on a regular basis, but when we do... our mind is always blown by the amazing food and service. We recently visited the restaurant, and we had the Fillet Steak. I’m always skeptical ordering steak from a restaurant because I’ve (nearly) always been disappointed. Well, let me just say... the best steak I’ve ever had in my life was at this very restaurant. The cut was beautiful! No fat whatsoever. You could cut the steak with a spoon! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and everyone! You will not be disappointed and soon it will become your new favourite place to go to. I’m disappointed they stopped serving breakfast, as their breakfast was exceptional and very tasty.

Went here for my birthday on my son's recommendation. we were a group of ten people. We eat out a lot and comparing this restaurant to a lot of the local ones comes out top for me at the moment. We all had such a lovely evening. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. My next visit is to have breakfast which is also supposed to be very good!

We went here on Saturday night . There is a review which says t"he steak is the best they have ever had". My partner went for said steak and she agreed . In fact she said nothing comes close to it . She couldn't finish it though as she loved her whitebait starter too much ! . Asparagus with egg and parmesan was brill so was the salmon main . Will certainly be going more in future . Best restaurant around . Table 8 . Saturday night . 7 pm .
