Had a great time here with my boyfriend last night, the waiter Shaun was very helpful and provided a great service, he also let us request songs! The food was great and brought out fast. Thanks for a great night Prego!
A really lovely place for Sunday lunch. The food is freshly prepared and cooked, no microwaved prepackaged food here! The waiters are super friendly. The restaurant clearly has many regulars who keep coming back for the good food and hospitality. There is a lovely feeling to the place, I would highly recommend it for Sunday lunch.
Huge portions, delicious food, quick service, beautifully decorated open space. Waitress Amy was superb, along with the young guy who served our food and another waiter, younger with short curly hair who was polite and friendly. Will definitely be back. Slightly pricey but worth it, more suited for special occasions in my opinion
Service is top rank. Efficient and you're not waiting around for your food to come out. Always asking if you're wanting a top up on your drinks. Very good. Only downfall was the starter. I was in a party of 5 and they all had the potato skins which were extremely well done. To the point, it was like a crisp without any potato in it. Some people make prefer that, but I feel they were a bit overcooked.
Seen this place on our day out. The signs outside were very inviting. Greeted by a lovely young lady who seated us. The restaurant was beautiful.
We ordered the spicy sausage pasta and the burger. Which by the way we're absolutely delicious and portion sizes were absolutely spot on.
I wish this place was closer to my home town as we'd be here so often. Staff are fab, food is great and the decor is stunning.
Next time I visit Roker. I'll definitely be coming back!
Visited today for Sunday lunch, with my friend and my son, who has autism. The staff were super friendly, they gave us a table in a quiet area of the restaurant which was great for my son.
The food was fantastic, cooked really well and very tasty
The staff then came and sang happy birthday to my son which made his day.
Can't recommend this place enough

The food is awesome. It's a new eatery opened near Sunderland beach side. The quality of food is exeptionable.
Due to the urge of customers they are providing UpTo 30 minutes of waiting time. But when it compared to the food quality the waiting time is okay.
A new restaurant with this much rush can explain the quality of the restaurant.

It gives friendly hello, a song on your birthday, your favourite drink remembered… It is to bring your happy place through great food, drink and service. As one of the newest restaurants in Seaburn they add to the fabulous Sunderland coastal experience.
Just popped in for Pizza. Had some great pizzas and enjoyed the quick service.
We ate in the restaurant but wished we'd eaten in the diner, seemed to have a better atmosphere in there.

Came to celebrate our 14 year old daughters birthday. Booked online and it asked for the occasion. Put birthday not thinking anything of it. From arrival the staff were brilliant t then after our meal they came with cake and sang happy birthday. Was a great night and will definitely do it again. Highly recommended
I've been here three times now, and I really do enjoy it! The atmosphere is lovely, the food is delicious and the drinks are great!
My first time visiting Prego and I was very impressed. Was greeted at the door by a very helpful man who quickly showed us to a table, unfortunately I did not get his name. He then introduced us to a lovely lady named Lorraine who would be looking after us for the evening. All staff were very friendly and attentive, service was prompt, and the food was absolutely delicious - some of the best I've had. Reasonably priced too, especially with the happy hour and cocktail deals! The decor was beautiful, felt very modern and chic and helped contribute to the gorgeous atmosphere. Had a wonderful night out with my boyfriend and will definitely be returning to Prego again.
We had a large family gathering for a special birthday tonight. The food was superb, and everything came out together…. no delays, which was brilliant considering the range of dishes we’d selected. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Nothing was a trouble to them. Thank you Team Prego for making this birthday memorable for all the right reasons!
Can’t fault this place at all. Lovely fresh food with generous portions at good prices. Special shout out to our waiter Sean. Genuinely the best service we’ve ever had. Funny, charming and looks after us. He’s a credit to the restaurant.
Love the decor in here its so pretty and the food and cocktails are beautiful.
I can recommend the black pudding starter and sea bass main.... Both equally tasty and the presentation is gorgeous. Huge plus that it's on our beautiful coastline as well so a nice walk afterwards finished this off perfectly.
