First time visit for a day off. Quaint area. Really friendly and welcoming. Lush fish and chips crispy batter, not too greasy, good portion size!

They do really good pizza's , they have good thick bases, tasty toppings, prices are good, with free tub of garlic on 12" pizza's. Looks to be family run, staff are friendly.
We ate ours at Souter Lighthouse which just along the road, lovely views and good food.
Very friendly,pizza was lovely,fish and chips were nice proper chips and fish cooked whilst there, I would have give 5 stars if there had been disabled access, although I know that is not shops fault so I will now give the 5 stars, maybe put a doorbell so if disabled, elderly etc that can't manage the steps can ring the bell to notify staff so they can take there order, just an idea and then you wouldn't loose business if anything it would increase it. Keep up the good work can't fault your food it is lovely.

Great quality fish and chips. It is also my go to place for a takeaway pizza. You can get a large pizza, bag of chips and a free tub of garlic sauce for less than £10. Staff provide a quick, quality service and are really friendly. Which means we are becoming regular customers. The only disappointing thing is they are closed on a Sunday ☹ However I do believe a great chip shop does deserve one day off a week.

My son came with his friends and his card wasn't working so they offered to give him the chips and he could pay the next time he visited. What a lovely thing to do! (He got his card working in the end so it wasn't necessary.)
Great value and friendly staff and service. Best chippie in area. Portions very generous and the fish is excellent. Beats the Seaburn and Roker chip shops every time!
