Great food but. Cash only payments is a bit poor
Ordered the zaffrani, first time trying this curry and first time having a curry from here. It was exceptional! Probably one of the best curries I have ever tried and I've tried a lot. Tried the pizza here before and was amazing so thought I'd give this a go and certainly did not disappoint.
Some dishes are exceptional. Prices are average. Had one or two issues, but nothing to stop coming back
Ive lived in the Fulwell area all my life and tried most of the curry shops in the area. This is by far the best and my go to for Friday night takeaway.
Wow the food was amazing. Nan bap and the meat kebab was the best i have had for a long time. 5 star for this place
Lovely friendly staff lots to choose from food wise thay is something for all the family including the picky eaters from classic Indian style dishes to pizzas must say pizza was cooked to perfection the last few times iv tried it will recmend trying
Pretty good local takeaway, quick service and at a fair price.
If you ask me Saffron is possibly the best Indian takeaway in all of Sunderland for many reasons, the food is always amazing, the staff are all very friendly and the delivery drivers are always on time and very polite

Ordered king prawn khatta, mixed veg pilau, popadoms and pickles. Everything arrived piping hot. The curry was the best I've had in ages. Everything was so fresh and tasty! Will definitely order again!

Beautiful authentic Indian food. Cooked fresh, would have take out from here every night if i could. Staff are friendly too.
