My wife asked me to find somewhere nice to have breakfast on our way back home from an overnight wedding do. I found Love Lily’s on Google maps, and it fitted the bill. Parking was easy, a matter of a hundred yards or so, and 60 pence per hour is brilliant. There is an outdoor seating area but it’s not covered, and it was raining. There was a small queue, but waited about 5 minutes and we were greeted and seated. The menu is quite varied, and the drink selection is great too. We ordered our Coffees while we searched for our food. I’m dairy intolerance, and my needs were met with no problem, I did have to fill in a small questionnaire, presumably to cover them, but it’s no problem at all. We decided on the American Breakfast, a sort of traditional with pancakes. (Pancakes are fine as the milk is cooked, I just can’t have raw dairy) The food turned up and looked amazing, really well presented. My only criticism was the potatoes were only just warm, everything else was hot. The service was really good, though we had to ask for cutlery once we got our food. I would definitely come back, it’s a place where it’s a treat to go. It was spotlessly clean, friendly staff and the prices were what we expected. Thank you.

This place is so beautiful ! I like the view and I really liked the decoration inside. The drinks was so cute and the pancakes were delicious ! In my personnal opinion, there were too much home syrup in mine but I'll ask for a little less next time. I'm in England only fort 5 days but sure, I'll come back to Love Lily 🥰 I need to taste more ! ❤️

We popped through from Durham to bring my daughter for her birthday. We arrived around 11:35 and were promptly seated with no wait time at all. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made a fuss over my daughter for her birthday. The food arrived in a very reasonable time, despite the building filling up pretty quickly for the dinnertime rush. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous, only my son could finish his burger and chips! The pancakes are very fluffy and very filling, a must try!

I went here for lunch before a long drive, so was looking for something to set me off on my way. Love Lily was a quirky little place right on the beach front. I sat outside and the area was shielded from the wind by perspex, so it wasn't too cold - nice! I got a lovely drink - mango and dragonfruit cooler and the USA breakfast. The food was really good! The pancakes were amazing - probably the best I've ever had! The potatoes were nice but could have been a bit hotter. When I went inside to pay I had a look at the cakes and they did look amazing! Good choice for anyone with a sweet tooth and looking for a treat with beach views. The staff were lovely and provided great service.

This place is incredible. Absolutely huge, amazing brunch options both sweet and savoury. Definitely not something you could eat every week but a genuinely unique, well presented, great range of food all in a lovely sea-front venue. Highly recommend

This is easily hands down the best restaurant I have been to in Sunderland. Cinnamon hun and chocolate galaxy pancakes are cannot miss items. Husband was impressed by the milkybar hot chocolate too. Will definitely have to try it next time. 10/10! Will be back.

Great first visit to Love Lily's in Roker. Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely environment and delicious food. I had the half stack fruity pancakes and speciality crunchie latte and loved every bit.

My friends have been coming here for years but being a die hard Newcastle girl I left them to it. After all this time I’ve no idea why I did that to myself 😆 unbelievably good food, cakes are phenomenal. I had the American breakfast 10/10 apart from leaving like a bowling with legs because I ate too much I couldn’t fault it. Took a stuffed cookie home and best cookie I’ve had. Worth going to Sunderland for. Can’t wait to go again. 100% recommended. Atmosphere lush, staff are fantastic. Girl with tattoo sleeve served us, so helpful and friendly made it a really pleasant experience. Didn’t have to wait long for a table because we timed it right apparently but I know it’s got a rep for having a queue. Wait in the queue, it won’t be a waste. Enjoy!!!

Finally managed to get in for pancakes! The stacks of pancakes are huge, easily feeds 2 adults! Indulgence to the max from the decadent hot drinks to the heavily topped pancakes. The savoury menu also looks delicious!

My wife took me here for a real treat and boy did it feel like one. Great variety in lattes and I wanted to try all of the breakfasts. I had the American and wife had the Lilly's breakfast. Not many people (it was a Monday morning), the service was pretty instant and friendly. There will be a next time and I can't wait.
