Me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here today. I had the steak & ale pie, which was a deep dish filled with a generous amount of steak topped with puff pastry & served with homemade chunky chips & mushy peas. My daughter ordered the mince & dumplings which she asked to be served with chips, it was served with mash potato, we politely pointed this out to a member of staff which was quickly put right. All in all... Great food & great service!!
I booked a table a little last minute, for a group of 10 adults, on a Monday night, they managed to squeeze us in, it was quite busy that night.l, but we got parked outside the door easily, the food and service were both excellent, with a couple of beers, and paid £25, i think the price was more than fair. I had the mixed spicey sizzler and it was very tasty and presented well. I would deffo return and recommend highly.
Great lasagne n really big portions n their hand cut chips are delicious! My daughter said her chicken curry was lovely but there could have been more rice to the ratio of curry. Children eat for free if an adult spends £10 brilliant!
Called In for a carvery and desert the food was amazing and the staff were lovely and very helpful as usual

First time ordering a beef Yorkshire pudding wrap , onion rings and corn on the cob. Got to say the food was absolutely banging and was all homemade. Also the delivery driver was lovely and polite and told us to enjoy our food.

First time to visit with my friend Sheila last week. Very homely, lovely decor, atmosphere was nice, food was absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. Will definitely be back soon

Great food and service, lovely steak and cooked to the exact standard I would expect, the only downside would be the warmth of the place, uncomfortably warm when in the seating areas.
Been here today and got to say food is lush and chicken bucket was to die for and steak burger and chips were lush, Will defo be returning
