Proper homemade chips with steak and ale pie and peas..not a bad pub the pie had chucks of steak on it but the only problem I had the manager at the bar was more interested in talking than serving…
I held a wake here and cannot fault anything at all. From the moment of enquiring the team were super helpful and friendly, nothing was a bother. On the day everything ran without a hitch, and the buffet food was great. It was so easy, it was a massive help on what otherwise was a really difficult day

As I have a disability the Hastings Hill was excellent.
Good disability parking is close to the door, excellent ramp, and no trip hazards.
Food was of good quality, and reasonable priced and service was excellent.
Good atmosphere. I definitely recommend it for a social day or night out to catch up with friends over a drink and lunch or even meal

Just popped in when passing, never been before but will definitely be back. The carvery was absolutely amazing! The roast potatoes, beef, turkey and yorkies were just perfect and all of the veggies and stuffing were really nice too. All of the staff were lovely, especially the gentleman serving the carvery, proper comedian 🤣🤣See you again soon

This is a very popular venue, we were lucky to get a table. It was very noisy, but the food was excellent. My only concern was that they let dogs in and for a person who is very scared of them, I was having to get my husband to take me to the toilet. I know that dogs are part of family life but for 2 hours surely you could think of other people like myself.
