Great bar in a great location. They have a great outdoor seating area that looks right onto the beach. The pub is dog friendly downstairs and has an upstairs area as well. The food here is good and at a decent price. The staff were really welcoming and canny. A great pub for a summer pint down by
We popped in for a drink, what a great place to sit and watch the waves. Friendly atmosphere, we didn't eat but the food looked awesome. Dog friendly. We wanted to go back but it was closed. Never mind, we'll make a visit next time we are in the area.
We ended up here with two very hangry (but picky) 6 year olds who weren’t used to eating out. We went in quietly dreading what we were sure would be a nightmare on a busy summer afternoon but we all came away happy, full and with a lovely family first. The children were well catered for with a good
Had my first date and engagement here with my husband, it's always friendly and well presented, the food is in good portions and quality, I bring everyone here as it's impressive without being ostentatious, I would recommend parking next to STACK and taking the walk along the cliff, it's a good leng
To our shame and disappointment this was the first time we've been. We've just taken ownership of a dog and now rediscovering parts of Sunderland. Great place in a great location. This is now one of our destination eateries.
Father's big birthday. Great walk first and then some food here. Large table we were all able to fit was a huge bonus. Good food
Wow Wow Wow just absolutely amazing Xx Wow love it Xx ❤️ Plus Dogs allowed downstairs which was amazingly to see 😍 Xx
Been in many times, quirky interior and pleasant staff. The food selection is pleasant and always very tasty. Wheelchair access Parking is not available immediately around the venue but there are car parks as you enter the promenade
It is the ideal place to enjoy any type of drink, indoors or outdoors, in Sunderland next to the beach. It has a pleasant atmosphere nicely decorated, fast service, and reasonable prices.
Lovely atmosphere and staff, 1st time we had Sunday lunch here it was 10/10 pre covid, this Sunday it was nice but not as tasty or hot, kids not impressed with only two roast potatoes. Very dog friendly and lovely ocean view.

Lovely pub right on the beach. Good choice of drinks on tap. Every food option I've had is really good - especially the breakfast burrito 🌯
Had lunch here today. Went for the rocker deluxe (doubled up). Great tasting burger and plenty of it. Came with a generous portion of enormous chunky chips. I actually struggled to finish it as there was so much. Would definitely recommend but if you aren't super hungry no need to double up!
Cold wet day in the middle of summer, it was a welcome sight following a walk along the beach. Quaint, nostalgic interior. Friendly staff. Coffee and cake advertised £4.50, but little choice other than a cupcake.
Had a fantastic breakfast this morning with my daughter. The place is spotless and the staff are really welcoming and friendly. I had the Grampas big breakfast and my daughter had the wrap, both were top draw. My wife and I have been here several times with our dog but this is the first time I’ve ha
