Serendipity is a friendly and charming tea room. The decor is pretty and colourful vintage. They have a good selection of teas which are served in china cups, also coffees, cocktails and soft drinks. There is a delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches, toasties and jacket potatoes which I have eaten on the many times I have frequented this establishment.

I booked Serendipity for my daughter and her fiancé to celebrate their engagement. We had afternoon tea and June and Robin were wonderful hosts. The food was delicious and the tables were set beautifully. I would thoroughly recommend the beautiful little tea shop to anyone as a venue for a similar special occasion.

Serendipity catered an afternoon tea at our wedding earlier this summer and it was superb. The food was delicious and drew lots of appreciative comments from our guests, and Robin was a pleasure to do business with - professional, friendly and made things very easy for us. We have no hesitation recommending Serendipity for any event you might be hosting!

We came in for a sandwich and tea/ juice and it was superb . We loved the surroundings and the waitress was so lovely . I've walked past so many times on my way to work and waved it was wonderful to finally pop in and say hello . I've taken away a menu and the selection sounds fantastic . Can't wait to go back . My friend bought some tea to take away as well and she loves it , Thankyou .

A serendipitous surprise! What a wonderful place! It's beautiful inside, much bigger than it looks from the front, with lots of little trinkets, tucked away in every corner. I could resist a couple of vintage Christmas jumpers or the 'blondie' a white, peanut brownie. Delicious!!
